Ahh yes. But I have to say I'm looking forward to July/August. I want to see some fireworks. They have them at the park every Friday in those 2 months...I go there at least 3-4 times. Something really special and cool about seeing fireworks at night in the middle of the summer.

Wow I hope he feels better! The only golf I ever played had a clown's mouth I had to hit the ball in and I wound up almost getting in trouble because I took such a hard swing, my club fell out of my grip and into the water...they told me throwing my clubs was against the rules of their place ( I swear it slipped though)!

Every Friday?! Wow, that's so cool. Who pays for it?
My hometown in Indiana could barely afford to have them once a year and it took a lot of donations too.

Thanks for the thoughts & prayers for Mom. She seemed much better by Saturday morning. My sis stayed with her Saturday & she was fine. I talked to her yesterday & she was going to my nieces for a cook out! She may have just had an "off" day on Friday. xx She can use the prayers today though - my brother is breaking the news to her that my aunt (her youngest sister) didn't get good news from any of the 3 doctors in Cleveland about her pancreatic cancer. And we also found out this morning, one of Moms good friends was diagnosed with bone cancer & it has spread to her organs. She will be very sad today! :(

What happened to my cool down??

Today is going to be our 6th 90 degree day this summer. In a normal year, we only have 9 of them all summer. I think we are in trouble.

We are back from Indy and ComicCon. Today is a relax and do nothing kind of day. While ComicCons are fun, they are tiring. It was a lot of fun.
Actor and director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Red State, etc...) was there to show his newest movie, Yoga Hosers. His daughter and Johnny Depp's daughter are the stars of the movie. He spoke for about an hour and then showed the movie and then had a Q&A session. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks for all of the Anniversary wishes. We are complete nerds so it was nice to spend our anniversary doing something we both really enjoy! Plus Indy is a special city for us. We spent a weekend there together early in our relationship and also took out Honeymoon in Indy. It is a great city with a lot of memories for us. Plus, we both worked with marching bands who performed in Indy at the Band of America Marching Band Finals every November. So we really enjoy the city.

In other Cosplay/ComicCon news. We may be going to Louisville this coming Sunday for a small Con. But, it has a kids cosplay contest, and Henry has a really cool Plankton outfit, so the current plan is to head down there for just the one day.
If you are interested in our silly family activities, we have a little cosplay facebook page. It is Lola and the professor. Feel free to check it out and like the page if you are on facebook. We are about to expand, we hope, and start a local cosplay group that can go to local events and charity events.

Sorry to take up so much space talking about our silly antics. :p

No need to apologize, we are family here and we all have our own hobbies and other likes besides Christmas. I have gotten pretty involved with my hockey fandom in years past sharing it on these pages.

Well, well....we have another family wedding coming up! My nephew got engaged last night! :) They are dropping like flies! No date set yet, but I'm sure they will be working on that soon! :) That's the 7th niece or nephew since April of 2015 to get married! :) My brother has or is marrying off 4 of his 5 kids! (5th one is already married with 3 boys) Busy couple years for them! :rolleyes:
