Literally that gum made my day today,all holiday packaging and tasting like Candycane. I am so ready for winter now.

Walked into a store today for a Gatorade and I had to wait in line down a candy aisle. Looking at the gum I see 4 packs of candy cane special holiday edition on the shelf. Got all 4 packs because they were old for .10 each. Lol!!! It was Christmas in June today!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm in The Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. This place is just unbelievable. I had no idea a hotel could be so large. I guess I'm just a country boy after all! Right now, I'm sitting next to a waterfall drinking coffee, surrounded by palm trees. Later, we're going to take a boat ride in the river...and it's all under roof! Crazy!

After we checked in yesterday, we went out to eat at Cheesecake Factory. After that was done, we all agreed that we could go home now LOL! Wow, it was good!

Tonight, we're going to the Grand Ole Opry. I think Charlie Daniels Band and a few others are playing, so that should be fun.

When does Hallmark stores put out the ornaments to buy?

The ornament premiere weekend is July 9-10, so our local stores usually have them out for a day or two prior.
And then October 1-2 & December 2-4 have debut weekends, too.

Can't wait!

(DERECHO possible).....Significant Weather event possible on Wednesday. Prepare now if this event occurs by bringing in light weight objects. Also prepare for possible power outages. Atmosphere will be primed on Wednesday for a dangerous storm system to develop from Wisconsin down thru Ohio. An MCS (Mesoscale Convective System) (a Complex of thunderstorms) will develop across Wisconsin moving into Illinois earlier in the day with some supercells with damaging winds and some tornadoes. The entire complex will start racing SE later in the day across Indiana & into Ohio by early evening, (possibly after 8:00pm). Chances are increasing that this will be a DERECHO (damaging wind event). Widespread wind damage will be possible with isolated tornadoes. Rainfall is likely into the night with over an inch expected. Monitor forecasts closely tomorrow in the event everything develops as forecasted.

Thanks, Holiday. I've been keeping an eye on it as in sure snowflake has too. From the latest I've heard, the major part of it is going to be south of us. But that could change in a heartbeat. I'll be safe and keep an eye on it.

I have the day off, I hate being awake so early. Oh well, early bird gets the worm I guess. At work, they are finally taking care of computer problems that have plagued us for 6 weeks (I had to go to another store to do scheduling and other tasks). But when they re-installed everything, I lost all the documents I had created. It's a good thing I have a lot of them saved at home. It's going to be another fabulous sunny day here but the extremely high heat broke with the storm last night. Looking forward to taking Loki for a nice walk at the park. Enjoy your day everyone!

that will be so nice for all of you. I miss my family that lives far away. I have been blessed to have my mom living in same town as me and we get to do lots of things together. She is 85 now so doubly blessed that she is still so active and busy.

(Hugs) I appreciate how difficult it must be having family live so far away. I hope you can visit sometime. Your mum sounds similar to mine. She is young at heart and very active too

Merry Pines Day!!

Two more days of work this week, and then the fun begins

Adi, Harlowe, and I went to the house last night so we could see the progress he made yesterday. Wow! He really accomplished a lot by himself, bless his heart.

The utility room is all Halloween, Autumn, Christmas, and Winter decorations right now, on shelving units. Some of it has been on shelving units in the past, but for the most part it's only been the village pieces. It's nice to see things out. Adi pointed out that he doesn't remember some of them, and some haven't been put out in awhile! You miss a box, or whatnot, and there it sits. So we had to stop at Menards for more shelving units again last night. The last thing he asked me is how much more do we have boxed up? And it's quite a bit, lol- I think we'll be putting certain things back in boxes.
He is such a sweetheart, though. He was so excited to show me what he did, I didn't expect any of it. I figured he was just unloading boxes in the garage.

The landscaping is looking really nice so far! The sprinkler system is on schedule for today, and then finish up with the plumbing portion inside on Thursday.
If all stays on track, hopefully the appraisal will be Friday.

Harlowe got to meet her new Cavalier King Charles neighbor friends last night, Bella & Cooper. It went great! So cute to see the three of them together!
