Merry morning,
It is a historical day for Britain. Things feel chaotic and unstable here at the moment but I imagine things will start leveling out again.
Other than that , mum is having trouble getting the vaccine requirement as it is unavailable every place she has tried near her. If we had more time then things would be better but her flight is on Monday. With the weekend here , today is the last day for something to work out.

Festive Spirit I hope that you can find a place for your mum to get the vaccine on time. Sending good thoughts that things will work out. We lived through a referendum on indepedence here in Québec in the 90s where the "no" won with a small majority. I can understand how chaotic things are after the results yesterday.

I start my three-day weekend! It's St-Jean-Baptiste day here in Québec, our provincial Holiday. Everything is closed so nothing to do but chores and relaxing and enjoying perfect Summer weather. My husband is working at the residence though, he will have his day off on Monday. Wishing everyone a great Friday.

Both choices come with risk but it's the uncertainty not knowing the impact and how things will transpire. Our Prime Minister has announced his resignation and the (£) pound has hit a record low. Sounds like you understand.
But it can also mean good things. Who knows! That's the scary bit!

We stand on the threshhold of yet another BIG MILESTONE!

Tomorrow, we will stand EXACTLY HALF WAY TO CHRISTMAS DAY!
[Holy Eggnog, Batman!]
Quite humid again yesterday. Almost oppressive.
Today will be warm again but not as bad.
Had a brief flirt with severe weather predictions yesterday but just got some rain and a little thunder.
This morning has started off wet from last night's rain, with a temperature reading of 71 degrees here in the capital city.
Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And get yourselves all keyed up to celebrate our Major Milestone tomorrow!
