Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! Happy halfway to Christmas Eve (my personal favorite day of the year). This weekend is supposed to be beautiful weather. It looks like I'll have some time on Saturday to enjoy it. Sunday I am going to a mass that my uncle is having as a deacon (his first one) in the early afternoon. Oh yeah and I still have a piece of that cake left Festive...

My husband and I are going to see a couple of oldies groups this evening. We're going to see The Temptations & The Four Tops. We love that Motown era, it should be a great show.

Friday is done, my final Friday I work before my vacation. I have a rare Saturday off tomorrow, but I work Sunday at time and a half instead. Hard to believe we are halfway home now.

Festive Spirit I hope that you can find a place for your mum to get the vaccine on time. Sending good thoughts that things will work out. We lived through a referendum on indepedence here in Québec in the 90s where the "no" won with a small majority. I can understand how chaotic things are after the results yesterday.

I start my three-day weekend! It's St-Jean-Baptiste day here in Québec, our provincial Holiday. Everything is closed so nothing to do but chores and relaxing and enjoying perfect Summer weather. My husband is working at the residence though, he will have his day off on Monday. Wishing everyone a great Friday.

Quite humid again yesterday. Almost oppressive.
Today will be warm again but not as bad.
Had a brief flirt with severe weather predictions yesterday but just got some rain and a little thunder.
This morning has started off wet from last night's rain, with a temperature reading of 71 degrees here in the capital city.
