Good Morning, Folks.

Approaching the two week mark.
(To our next Milestone, that is.)

Days to the Season: 137
Days to Christmas Day: 179

That two week mark will arrive tomorrow.
And the Milestone is in fact the TWO-THIRDS MARK TO THE SEASON!
(So far -- so fast!)

Quite rainy here yesterday morning (1.5 inches to be exact) but we had a nice and clear afternoon/evening. We could get more rain each day for the remainder of the week, according to the weather service.
This morning has commenced here precipitation free at 74 sunny degrees.

Wednesday -- mid week -- Pines Day -- the last Pines day in June.
This one could be low-key this evening as Carl prepares for the big Independence Day bash to be held Monday.
Red white and blue frosted fired twinkies are a staple, of course.
Fireworks naturally, and there is a rumor our friendly activities director has commissioned at least one firework to explode in the shape of a camel.
(This I have GOT to see!)

See you at the Pine this evening. And in the meantime, you have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

Thank you Crown, see you tonight!

Thank you!
I really need a good night's rest. I've been up and down during the night with a cough for a solid week now. Plus the long plane trips and busy days.

We spent a few days with Gloria and just got back this evening. Considering the broken bones and hospital stays last year, she's in marvelous shape for a 90-year-old. She has a hard time walking, but she's bright and sharp and we talked and laughed so much! We took her shopping and out for lunch every day, and talked for hours. It's so hard to leave after enjoying her company so much. She gave us hilarious birthday cards that light up and sing and dance! We pray we can do it all again next year.

P.S. This was the view from our hotel room Monday morning, our last day there ...

Hope your day will go by quickly. Usually when we are busy, time flies (at least it does for me). Enjoy your day Rich!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! My coworker just said how he can't believe we are 2 days from being halfway through the year. Anyone else starting to think about the holiday weekend coming up? I know that I am. We may go see the fireworks on Friday at the park we love going to every summer. Hopefully it won't rain.
Have a great Wednesday/Pines Day everyone!
Have a nice day Edge. Let's hope for sunshine and clear skies on Friday, fireworks are so much fun.

Merry Wednesday MMC...just working today and my oldest daughter has a soccer game tonight. Have a great day and see you at the Pines!
SnowflakeMom hope you have a great day. Your daughters sure are keeping you busy with sports. Nice for them to be so involved.

It rained a lot yesterday and temps have cooled down but it's still humid. Supposed to rain and thunder all day today. I hope Friday will bring nice weather, our management team is meeting up at a colleague's house and he has a pontoon, would be nice to get on the water a bit. I don't know why but yesterday I kept thinking that it was Wednesday, threw me off all day. Enjoy your "actual" Wednesday everyone!

Today is Wednesday! I was a day ahead last night as I dropped by the Pines early. I'll come back tonight. :)

Thanks, Crown!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Not a lot happening around here today. I'm not trying to get caught up for vacation next week. It seems like I haven't worked a whole week for a while. Actually, I haven't! Not much of a company man these days, eh? Even today, I have to work through lunch and leave early to get the oil changed, and do some banking. Grrr.

Vacation next week!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Vacation sounds so good right about now :).

I usually end up needing a vacation after my vacation.

Good morning, everyone!

It is officially the final day of the school year! After today, the grade 12 students will be on their way to their next adventures. I came to Russell when these students were in Grade 10, and having taught them for three school years, I really am going to miss them. They are a great group! It will be nice to say good luck tonight at graduation. They deserve it!

It's the final 'Pines Day of June. I can't wait to see what type of special that Carl has in store for us tonight!

Not much else is happening today. It should be a busy one after school with getting some food and preparing for the graduation ceremonies. I'll probably be at the school for about 12-14 hours total today. It's all worth it, though!

Well, I have a few things to share from a recent trip to Tinseltown... They should be up shortly. I hope you enjoy!
