Good evening,

I am finally totally relaxed for the first time in a few months, I have only been off for a few hours but a weight is off my shoulders. We are not taking an overnight trip anywhere, just a few day trips and Six Flags. Tomorrow will be the most important trip, the Costco run!
We will be having a July 4th party after the town's parade. It is kind of sad because JP was supposed to march for the first time as a Boy Scout, but he has decided to give it up, for now I hope, he is feeling burnt out right now. He has been in Cub Scouts since he was 6 years old, and the only one in his age group that went through every year since. I am hoping he will see how much he misses it after taking some time off, if not it was a fun ride and good experience for him.

No alarm clocks, no bedtimes....VACAY!!!!

Happy July 1st!
I'm heading out soon, still running around for my nephew's wedding. I have to go back to the seamstress today. I drove there yesterday and the dresses weren't finished. They told me to pick them up after 4:00 but I never made it back there. I also have to get my nails done today. I have a a couple of other errands to run as well. I'll pop back in when I can. More rain fell yesterday and it was, of course, rather humid.
Precipitation remains possible in the forecast on through the weekend and into the first part of next week.
We are currently at 75 degrees here in the capital city with a bright sun.

Wow, I cannot believe how close we are starting to get. The pressure is on!

As for not coming around here often is work. Takes most of my time, but I really want to try to start checking around here everyday again. I miss it.

For our weather here, it is rainy and humid. Typical for this part of the country. Makes me miss the drought, even those the rain is better all around.

Good Morning and Happy 1st day of CIJ!!!!!
I planning CIJ activities with the kids: crafts, baking, gift making etc. Going to take the kids shopping to stock up on craft supplies so we can work on decorations for the house and gifts for extended family member. Plus I am trying to figure which weekend I want to make a Ham or a turkey breast dinner in honor of CIJ and of course lots of QVC and Hallmark channel.
