Good afternoon!! I'm PLENTY cool in the office! ;) But the second you walk outside, instant sweat! I was going to take the convertible back after lunch but opted for the Durango & A/C! :p (wimpy!) :D
Ugh, that's how it is here, too. So muggy!!
I would've made the same choice!! :p

Hii Christmas friends...Just popping in to say hiii and that i am missing you guys-gift-
Thinking of you, Prancer...hope you are doing ok!

Hello everyone.
We got a lot done in and around the house yesterday. My wife is still working on painting in the living room, and I went out and finished a nasty weed/spider infested corner of the yard.
I still need to head to Lowe's and finish up a small area in the front yard.
Then, of course, we have to move the furniture back into place and put shelves back up and all of that. I am sure that will go into tomorrow. I am also sure that my wife will be wanting to head out and buy a new couch to go with the new wall colors. That will probably be this weekend, and something tells me we will end up at IKEA.;)

To make the outside work tolerable, I have been listening to Christmas music nonstop.:locotree
Love the Christmas music!! We repainted and bought new furniture in April. Fresh paint always brightens everything up!

I've DVR'd enough Hallmark Christmas movies this week to get me through the rest of 2016! I've watched a few and deleted them. I don't want to fill up the DVR because we all have so many other shows we record weekly. November Christmas has been my favorite so far!

No more planned vacation for us until Labor Day weekend. I hate for school to start on August 8 (DD will move up a school, into 6th grade), but I look forward to Labor Day weekend and the beginning of "the -bers".

Hopefully we are nearing completion of our home addition. Walls are being painted and flooring installed. DH & I are sleeping on our bed in the living room & DD is sleeping next to us on the couch. All of our bedroom furniture is crammed into the living & dining room. It's kind of like camping at home! The sheet rock dust almost did us in, but that part is over. However, we'll probably be cleaning the dust off of/out of things for months.

Hallmark ornament premier on Saturday & I'll be at the closest Hallmark store. They open at 7:00 a.m., but I don't know if I'll get there that early. It's a 45 minute drive to get there. They have our wish list ornaments packed up and ready for us, but there is a limited edition Star Trek ornament that I need to get for DH so I want to get there early. I will also pick up the ornaments that Mom gets for the granddaughters. She kept all four of them yesterday and they picked out what they wanted.

It's a cool, rainy day here after weeks of 90+ temps and no rain. I'm burning a "winter" candle and listening to classic Christmas music today. I'm in the mood!
Sounds like a great day!! I burn my winter candles year round. I bet your addition will come out great! Have a great day!

We bought the house about 6.5 years ago and did very little in terms of painting at the time. My wife has been wanting to redo the living room decor for a while now and we finally had the time to get it done. Our couch is old and was used when we got it, so it has to replaced before long anyway. We have a bunch of superhero decor to go up in the living room once it is painted. :)

Yes..I save all my Amazon gift cards from Christmas to use on Prime Days!! Last year the Fedex and UPS men were all bent out of shape from deliveries here..lol.
Great idea! I've got some birthday gift cards to spend. But I'll be at work all day and won't be able to jump onto the bargains.

Almost quitting time! I think I'll be spending some time inside (I hope) Whew, it's hot! I do have some laundry to hang on the line but that won't take TOO long! ;)
My hubby is replacing the top boards on Moms deck so I will probably meet him over there later on, but by the time he gets off work, maybe it will be a little cooler! :)
Planning to watch more Christmas on Hallmark tonight! I started "The Holiday" on Netflix at 11:00 last night but couldn't keep my peepers open for the whole thing. Maybe I'll finish, or watch more of that after the Hallmark movies are over again tonight! :D
Have a Fantastic Friday Eve, Evening everyone!

Have fun tonight! Enjoy the Christmas movies, I'll be watching too :p

Hi friends! Another hot one here, with tomorrow being just as bad. Did a graveside service outside today and within 10 minutes in the shade I was burning up! Phew!

There was also a snake in the grave ditch though, so you better believe we finished that service REAL QUICK.

Never a dull moment. :)

Hope everyone's having a great one!

Lol..its funny because those guys and gals make unreal money. More than most people realize, and all they do is gripe about how heavy a package is or how long their workday is. I told my UPS man.."so quit! The McDonalds is always hiring."

LOL!!! Her Husband is one so I'm sure that she knows all about it.

I'm sure mine used to hate me though. I used to work as a sales rep for a company that had contracts with Kraft, Conagra, Five Hour Energy, and Wrigley just to name a few. I called on over 300 accounts every 6 weeks. I got boxes of samples to hand out every cycle and a crazy amount of displays to put up. When five hour energy first came out, I got 600 of the little black three tier racks you see in every gas station to hand out. When Wrigley switched from the old style package to the new flat boxes, I got 500 boxes each containing 6 cases of gum to switch out all the stores. All delivered to my apartment by a lonely UPS driver. I tried to keep him happy though with samples of slim jim's, nabisco cookies, and planters peanuts.
