Good Morning, Good Morning, my Friends.
And Many Merry Milestone returns!

Can you believe we have now reached ELEVEN Milestone Markers for 2016?
(And number 12, coming right up, is a really BIG one!)

Days to the Season: 122
Days to Christmas Day: 164

Today's Milestone is, of course, the TWO-THIRDS point to the Season.

And the NEXT one is none other than the 100-day Season Window, with a DOUBLE DIGIT Season count to immediately follow.
Now, THAT marker is a scant 3 weeks from tomorrow, Guys!

Nothing but a sprinkle here yesterday to mar the day, not that it was great to begin with considering all the heat and humidity.
Today? Predicted to be even hotter with a possible heat index of over 100.
(Zounds!)
Right now, our back door thermometer reveals that it is already 78 degrees outside.

Happy Thursday everyone! Hot days this week, I even had trouble sleeping last night even with the air conditionning on (kept being too cold-going under the blankets-getting too hot). The high humidity should break after today. Not doing much this morning before going to work the afternoon/evening shift. Just looking forward to a day off tomorrow.

Thank you all. I talked to her about it a little more when I picked up Gracie yesterday. It is heartbreaking. Sad & scary how fast that happened. :( Her husband took Gracie for a little walk yesterday. Bless his heart!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I worked like a dog yesterday afternoon. Next week is camp meeting at the Methodist campground, and Nancy's family has a "tent", as they call it, that needed cleaning. It's actually a large block house with a concrete floor, and it has a large, screened-in front porch, a kitchen, and six small bedrooms. I ran a pressure washer till 10pm, and I am sore today! I was happy to come back to work so I could get some rest! LOL

They have a way at tugging at our hearts! :) It does help though when you can leave them with people you trust to keep them safe & happy!
