Afternoon all. Went to the grocery store today and the Pumpkin Spice Coffeemate is stocked!! Also, fall candy is coming in now.
Blistering hot today so I decided to make Choco No Bake cookies. 3 batches and 3 failures..idk what is up with the No Bakes now

Could the heat or humidity be affecting the recipe?

Happy Keep-Cool, Christmas-in-July Saturday!

Like a lot of other places, it's in the 90s here with the threat of thunderstorms later in the day. We were right in the path of a really severe storm yesterday evening---wind gusts to 80 mph and half-dollar-sized hail---but it somehow missed us, thank goodness. It was weird, because the radar showed the storm right over our town, but all we got was a little rain and a few thunderclaps.

Anybody listening to the Santa Tracking rebroadcast? I'm tuning in now and then, and it's a nice reminder of last Christmas and of the Christmas that's coming!

Happy Saturday MMC! I'm working another midnight shift, I'll be popping in and out till 7am. We took our son to a Christmas in July event at the neighborhood petting farm, it was a lot of fun. I hope you are all having a great weekend too!

What a glorious day!!!! Got up, got my work done quicker than expected, and I have hung out with the wife and kids all day. They have been really low maintenance today, so the wife and I got to sit and watch them play and just visit. Seems like it has been ages since we did that last! It has been the best weekend!

Trying to conserve energy by not running the a/c 24/7...been giving it a break a few hours at a time but it's so warm that the room gets too warm too quickly without it.
