Has anyone ever managed to get a poinsettia to re-bloom? I put mine outside from last Christmas & it is doing so well! Loves it outside. :) I know it need 13-16 hours of darkness per day for something like 40 days before Dec. 1st but I'm just wondering if it actually works?!

Good afternoon,

Just resting before heading in for the inventory, like usual I don't want to go.

It will be a long night, as we have a new way of doing it.

I hope you all are enjoying your day.

Talk to you all tonight.
I hope inventory goes better than expected & you have a good afternoon/evening!

Morning all. Just got back from church, got the front lawn mowed and a load of laundry in the dryer. Now to relax for a moment or two and try to get a few hours of sleep (starting around 1 or 2PM) for the overnight shift this evening. Hope you are all doing well.
Sounds like you had a productive morning!
Hope you were able to get some good sleep, have a nice afternoon & evening!

When is your 1st snowfall normally? I remember last year you said it was snowing & it was so hard to imagine!
It's ususally early November, but sometimes October even. I remember some years growing up, trick-r-treating with flurries.

I remember a festival the 1st weekend in October & we had snow, but that was a long time ago & very rare! 2 years ago, our 1st snowfall was Oct. 31st! Hard to imagine right now!

Crazier things have happenend, lol ;)
I remember one time in August it was so hot outside and a storm started forming. We ended up having around 1 1/2 inches of hail on the grass and the temp had dropped like 40° in a hour. All us kids laid out in the yard until it all melted away. Idk what the temp had been before, but I do remember it was hot even for Va.

I'm thinking of putting it by the window in our crawl space this fall where it should naturally get a lot of darkness overnight & daylight during the day. IF it's warm enough.

That is nuts! You probably felt like you were in The Twilight Zone :D

That sounds like a prime spot to test it out at!

Sounds about right :p
It stinks when weather affects an event like that!
