Love those first few cool crisp mornings when you wake up and realize instead of a/c you need a blanket.

I am so pining for that! It's been SO hot and humid...finally feeling a LITTLE relief today but man, still almost 90 all week give or take. Ready for those chilly mornings that require a sweatshirt and flannel PJs!

Good evening,

I am playing the role of a bachelor tonight, my wife went with her mom and sister on a trip to Newport, RI, my boys are with my father in law for the night since I get up early to go into work.
I had a pizza from Papa Gino's, and I watched "The Night Before." Honestly, I did not like it. Last year when the trailers for "Krampus" and "The Night Before" came out, who would've thought I liked Krampus and hated the other.
I am not going to make it late tonight, it is so quiet in the house, I already can feel myself drifting off.
If I don't pop back in I will say goodnight now.

Goodnight, everyone

Sleep well xmas! See ya tomorrow!

Hi MMC! HAPPY AUGUST! The first "long named" month of the year. The names are all long between now and next March! Just so amazing to think about that. It fills me with such joy! August is a month of anticipation. It brings band camp for me (teaching), enjoying the last bit of summer weather (or trying to enjoy it rather than run full force towards fall as fast as I can), a last trip to the River for the summer/year, and start to think about crafting for the fall! The pumpkins and ghosts have been out at the grocery store for a few weeks now (ceramic-not real). I look forward to enjoying the season with you all friends! It's great to be among such excited folks that I can celebrate with! Every day is a beautiful day to enjoy-let's savor what's left of summer as we anxiously look forward to fall! See you tomorrow, MMC!

Tonight at my grocery store they did have the ceramic pumpkins and we had some ceramic turkeys too! Definitely makes me excited for the fall! Have a good night!

Another nice day in the middle of nowhere. The weather is perfect, we've either been relaxing on the porch, taking walks or going on outings with my husband's friend's in-laws. Yesterday we went to a celebration of a nearby town's 175th year. Music and fireworks.

Today we went walking in a lovely small village full of picturesque houses and at night we went to one of their aunts, where we sat around a fire eating roasted marshmallows and getting eaten alive by mosquitos. There was a beautiful sunset there:
