I know what you mean ... this morning it was cloudy and dark with rain showers, and I just wanted to lie down someplace and listen to the rain! Today seems awfully long, for some reason, and it's somehow incredible that it's still only Tuesday. Friday seems almost as far away as Christmas!

Today we went walking in a lovely small village full of picturesque houses and at night we went to one of their aunts, where we sat around a fire eating roasted marshmallows and getting eaten alive by mosquitos. There was a beautiful sunset there:

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! On to the 2nd day of the week and the last month before the Bers. Yesterday was a blur at work because I was so busy. This whole week is going to be like that. Probably better off because it gives me less time to think about stuff. I sometimes wish I was not a thinker...people who don't overthink seem to be happier :). I am not gonna call today but probably Wednesday to check up on how Rollins is. I just hope he's doing ok...nothing else matters to me right now. Today just gonna stay busy at work, relax this evening and try to go to bed early enough to get a good nights sleep.

Thanks, DYHWIH! It's been pretty nice, I had lunch with a girlfriend today, got caught up on some work, and will be celebrating Adi's Birthday with him tonight.

Hey CS! Hope today was just great for you. Love hot tea-I don't drink it much during summer because I'm already so warm-won't be long before it's chilly and I can enjoy them again!

Our "broken record" weather continues with no real change to speak of.
Longest string of consecutive hot and humid weather days I can recall in quite some time.
Today's version has commenced at 77 degrees here in the capital city.

We're with you on the hot and humid, although being around 95 rather than 100 feels much better...what a mess! I'm ready for sweater weather...not sweat-er weather!

Thanks for the Countdown! It certainly gives me more hope than the forecast!

I just got back from my bi-annual stress test at my cardiologist's office. I hate that treadmill! The guy operating it asked if I was ready for it. I said sure. He said, "It doesn't matter. The treadmill always wins." LOL And he was right!

Anyway, after four hours of the aforementioned treadmill, CT scans, and Doppler imaging, I again passed with flying colors. Thank you, Lord!!

I'm back at work trying to catch up on what I missed. I hope y'all have a great day! :D
