Good Morning, Everybody!

Onward we go into our quest. That never-ending pursuit of Christmas and its glorious Season.

We mark our progress with Milestones, the next one looming exactly ONE WEEK AWAY!
Days to the Season: 98
Days to Christmas Day: 140

And that pending marker is none other than the 3/4 point to Christmas Season 2016, hard though that may be to believe (let alone accept).


Well, we continue to avoid the worst of the heat and humidity but it's still not comfortable. Perhaps a little relief today if it doesn't rain.
We awake to start the second half of our weekend at 79 degrees here, which doesn't bode well for a cool day.
(Looks like rain, too!)

Good afternoon,

Popping in while I have a moment, before I fire up the grill. We mowed the lawn for the first time in over a month. The lack of rain kept the grass from growing for a long time, it just started to be needed to be cut within the last week.

I can't wait until the fall weather gets here, I feel so trapped in the summer when it is hot. I have a heat headache from mowing earlier, so right now the a/c is on me. I am also excited with the fact that my Christmas week vacation was approved already, I am excited for that week now, and the other things we have planned over the next 6+ months.

Funny I told one friend recently that I can't wait for the Bers and she was like HUH? Had to explain...
Another friend I told her I can't wait for the Bers replies "BEST TIME OF YEAR." Was surprised...maybe she's one of us? Most don't get what that means.

Saw Rollins again today. I think the guy was surprised we actually keep going there. They said visit any time so it's not like we're in the way. They give us a little dressing room area to play with him. He definitely knows us right away now. Just wants to play all the time. I made the mistake of putting my keys on the floor and he didn't have a toy so of course he went right for my car keys. I'm gonna have to get a 3rd eye to keep on him when I bring him home. Probably will go visit him again Tuesday. Just love him.

I saw your comment and the meme with winter is coming substituting winter with 'Bers popped in my head and I had to make it. I told the Mrs about the bers and she didn't know what I was talking about either. She's now educated on them. She's not a fanatic like me, but she puts up with me. She better, she's marrying me.

It's amazing how fast you can unconditionally love a pet. The only thing IMO that is quicker is seeing your children born for fathers, or even the first time you see them. Possibly even feeling them for moms (can't say for sure but I've heard a few moms say as much). I'm glad you found Rollins. He'll definitely keep you on your toes!!
