Good morning one and all or all for one or four for a dollar... anyway I trust you are all doing well. Got home from work an hour ago and with coffee by my side, I am ready to relax before calling it a night (so to speak). I'm sure most of you have heard of Santa Claus, Indiana but for those who have not or never been there, here are a couple of photos at the entrance to the town and the town hall... enjoy!

Yeah I am hoping for good news. I visited him several times and he definitely knows us by now. He thinks we're his friends who come visit him...little does he know his life is about to get 10 times more exciting, fun and awesome.

So sorry to hear that Harlowe had another bad night. Is she having trouble with the high humidity? Hope things improve and that you can get more sleep in. Stay cool in this heat. Hugs to both of you.

Thanks, Martine. I think so, she has her other health issues going on in addition to the heat and humidity, so it may just be too much at once. She is taking all of her meds, prescription and holistic, and drinking plenty of water, so we just continue to pray that she'll feel better soon.

So the spa yesterday was a really nice experience. The massage was very relaxing (hubby even fell asleep next to me lol). And the steam rooms and cool baths were great (especially the cool baths). First time at a spa, it won't be the last.

Hope you all will have a great Wednesday. Not a lot planned for today, taking it as it goes.

Thanks Snowflake Mom, nice to see your bright cheery face (pic anyway). Yes, it is very cool and has the only Santa Claus postmark at the US Post Office there. The streets all have Christmas style names and even the businesses join in with the likes of... Santa's Lodge & The Holiday House (Hotel), Frosty's Fun Center & Santa's Candy Castle (food) & places to see/do like Lake Rudolph Campground & RV resort, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari (small amusement park) & The Holly Tree Christmas Shop.
Just out of interest sake, have you ever heard of Bronner's Christmas Wonderland?

Happy Wednesday! Tomorrow is my last day of work before a weeks vacation with the family. When I return it will be time to get serious about my eating and exercise routines again. Discipline and all of that! It's so humid here already my windows were steamed up when I woke up. I was almost scared to leave the house and head to work. I hope all of my friends on here have a wonderful day!

Good Morning, Center-of-the-Week Season Seekers and Milestone Awaiters.

Well, the wait is nearly over for the next one, the 3/4 marker to Christmas Season 2016, now just FOUR days away, after which we will be in the FINAL quarter of our journey, impossible though that may be to believe!

Days to the Season: 95
Days to Christmas Day: 137


Pretty warm and humid again yesterday, with no rain this time. Drier but warmer weather is predicted for the balance of this week.
Currently, our back door thermometer tells us it is 76 degrees here in our portion of the MMC Nation.


Have a Wonderful Wednesday Folks, and a Vivacious Visit with Carl and Crew at the Shispering Pines this evening, where the food is great, the iced tea is sweet and the entertainment is.......well...... always unusual and interesting, thanks to our friendly activities director.

Thank you! Yes, it was very nice. We arrived in Louisville around 4:00 on Thursday. We took the scenic route along the Ohio River. Beautiful! We all went out to eat at a Cuban restaurant for supper. It was delicious. That night Jim & I took Uber downtown with my niece & her hubby to 4th Street Live. That was fun!! We got to see Craig Campbell @ PBR. That was a surprise & very cool! Friday we toured the Louisville Slugger factory, then we toured the Evan Williams Bourbon distillery. It was pouring down rain when we left Evan Williams so we went to a Mexican restaurant next door for a margarita, chips & salsa! We hung out in the Courtyard at the hotel with all the wedding peeps Friday night. Saturday was the wedding, Sunday we cruised back home. Then took the pontoon to listen to our friend sing/play at a restaurant around the lake. Monday we had my family over for lunch at the lake then we took the pontoon out with friends. Yesterday was laundry day & hanging at the lake. Took a bike ride last night. POOF 6 days here & gone!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! It's my Friday and my shortest week since New Years. I've had a lot of 4 day weeks this year but none less than that. With my days off I really want to relax some and have to see how the whole Rollins situation plays out the next few days. Other than that I am trying to finish up some stuff at work today. Hope you all are well and having a great mid-week! See you at the Pines.

Happy Pines!! Woke up to some rain and I think it is going to be a pretty dreary day but that is ok...we have had such nice weather so I can't complain. Just working today and I am making spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

It was POURING at the lake this morning. A mile down the road it was dry. Didn't get a drop at home! It's dreary now though so fingers are crossed we get some rain.

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday! Oh wait - it's Hump/Pines day!! Feels like Monday to me, but it's not!


Hope you all have had a wonderful 6 days! I missed you all!
We had a GREAT time! It was a beautiful convertible ride, Louisville was fun, wedding was nice + 2 days off at the lake after...can't believe how fast those 6 days went! Now it's back to reality!
I probably won't be able to get all caught up here, but I'll do my best!
