They have not suggested Lasix or Furosemide for Maggie. She has this chronic bronchitis and there's always that fear of pneumonia when they hear the crackling in her lungs. That's why we started another round of antibiotics. They prescribed an anxiety pill call Trazodone this past Monday, we were hoping it would help to calm her, she tends to panic during the coughing fits which makes the coughing even worse. She had a bad reaction so we stopped it. If she doesn't improve with the antibiotics I think we may do the endoscopy. The veterinarian doesn't think we're at that point yet but I'm not sure if I agree. I'm going to video a couple of her coughing fits so he can really see what going through.

I'm sorry, friend. How frustrating, and scary to see her go through that.
It's a good idea to video it, sometimes I think they need to witness it firsthand somehow to really take you seriously and understand the situation.
Are you seeing any relief yet from the antibiotics? Praying that you are ❤️
Hopefully they can recommend a different anxiety pill, too.

She doesn't seem to be getting any relief yet from the antibiotics, but we just started them on Tuesday. She usually responds pretty well to them so I'm hopeful! I will definitely keep you posted.

Happy Thursday!
It's going to be warm and humid today, chance of showers & storms. Not too much planned, typical day of errands and chores. I'm going to take a ride to Target today, I have a list of things that we need. I'll be passing a HomeGoods on my way so I'm going to stop in and browse. Hoping I see some signs of Autumn in HomeGoods :)

My Mom was at Home Goods yesterday, and she said there were lots of vintage Autumn & Halloween decor!
