Happy Thursday all! Not to rub it in,,,,,,but today is my last day of work before a weeks vacation!! It's hot and humid as hades out there, but we're supposed to get some rain to relieve the situation today. I'm getting my annual Halloween playlist ready and preparing for the 'bers. If I'm unable to get a good wifi signal while away I hope you all are well and have a wonderful week ahead of you!

Hey Frosty. Enjoy your vacation my friend. It's so exciting isn't it? Maybe I underestimated the month of August. I used to feel like it was not a great month but with MMC the excitement that happens this month as we approach the Bers is so awesome. I'm getting my annual Halloween playlist ready as well. Gonna start earlier this year September 1.

I'm curious: what does a Halloween playlist look like? I have a huge Christmas playlist and add to it every year, but are there that many songs that evoke Halloween?

You guys are lucky if its only nasty out.
We had a bad storm at our House in Arizona,roof made it but the ceiling not so lucky lol contractors said 3 to 4 weeks the MR will live in hotel there and im blessed to stay in CA with my groovy ex hippy 84 yr old mom..!

Oh, no ... so sorry to hear you had so much damage. At least you had someplace to go while the repairs are being made.

The marker in question? Well, it's the THREE-QUARTER point to Christmas Season 2016.
(Is time starting to slip away from us? I'm beginning to think so!)


Another warm but rain-free day here yesterday.
The grass needs mowing, but there is a trade off. Do I want cooler morning temps to mow in or do I want dry grass to avoid mower clogs? The morning grass is soaked and chokes the mower but the afternoon becomes hot as a furnace by the time the grass dries. Always a dilemma!
Today has started out already at 78 degrees here and I'll probably choose the clogged mover!

They have not suggested Lasix or Furosemide for Maggie. She has this chronic bronchitis and there's always that fear of pneumonia when they hear the crackling in her lungs. That's why we started another round of antibiotics. They prescribed an anxiety pill call Trazodone this past Monday, we were hoping it would help to calm her, she tends to panic during the coughing fits which makes the coughing even worse. She had a bad reaction so we stopped it. If she doesn't improve with the antibiotics I think we may do the endoscopy. The veterinarian doesn't think we're at that point yet but I'm not sure if I agree. I'm going to video a couple of her coughing fits so he can really see what going through.
Your thoughts and prayers mean so much to me. You and Harlowe are in mine as well <3

Is everyone having a good week or are you just hanging on till the weekend? Nothing to exciting to report in my neck of the woods. My daughter London is looking forward to the start of her 3rd Otakon convention that starts tomorrow and goes thru Sunday. This will be it's last year being held in Maryland and she wasn't going to attend this year but her friends begged her to go and so she's going to see it through. Next year it will be held in DC and I just don't really see her following it all the way there for three days. But I'm excited that she has something to mark the end of her summer with before she steps into college.

I hope everyone has a great day. I'll check in later for a mid day pick me up.

Merry Friday Eve! Another dreary day here and we having pouring rain and a t-storm right now. It is so humid outside...it is like glue! Just work for me today and my oldest daughter is supposed to have a pick up soccer game but not sure on the weather....we'll see. Hope you all have a great day. I think I am going to make another cup of coffee and turn on some Christmas music..

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! My body must be in vacation mode since I slept 9 hours straight (that almost never happens). I went to bed early and feared I'd wake up my usual time for work but instead woke up an hour and a half later. It felt good though. Now I'm making some pancakes and sausage for breakfast. Decided to take a break from the cereal routine now that I'm off. Anyway, I'm going to do some food shopping today and go visit Rollins. We should be getting some kind of update in the next day or 2.

I ended up on the couch with Maggie again last night. I feel bad when my hubby wakes up from her coughing. Hopefully the medicine will work soon. I'll definitely keep you posted!
