I can't believe it, either! Exciting stuff! Decorating in just a few weeks!

I'm not done with summer yet, but I am looking forward to seeing your decorations in your new home!!!

Makes me smile that Har had a better night. Continued prayers for her!

Gracie is good. She hasn't been eating much the last couple days. Oh, she's very interested in our food, just not her own! But she's good! Ornery as ever!! She sends a hug to Har!

Adrian went skydiving yesterday, to commemorate turning 40!!!

I was a nervous wreck!! ...so glad it went well, and he came home safe.

He had am amazing experience!! I'm stoked for him!

He's insane!! LOL!!! My hubby did that a couple times b/f we were together. CRAZY nut! No way!!! As they always say "why would you want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane?" Ha ha!
I'm glad he enjoyed it!!!

I agree. However (history lesson), the answer to "Why is this here?" is: Box office. Comedy---especially zany, what-the-hell comedy like the Marx Brothers---tended to attract men, but not women. If you wanted to get the girlfriend or the missus and the family into the theater as well (two or more tickets instead of one), you had to put something in that would make the comedy more digestible for women, or so the thinking went. It also explains the extensive musical sequences in the films they made for M-G-M. I've learned from Mr.'s research that most "why in the world?" questions concerning vintage films can be answered by approaching them from a business/box-office angle.

I was a nervous wreck!! ...so glad it went well, and he came home safe.

Did he tandem jump? (Where he is rigged to another person) or was it solo? Tell him to be careful because it is a very addicting hobby..lol. My first time I had a old hungover Jumpmaster screaming "Go..Go..Go..!!!" Out ya go..then the feeling of floating with your heart pounding. Glad he had a good time.

I think that I'm about ready to abandon you on the summer thing Holiday. As much as I love it I'm almost ready to be done with it. 90-95 with humidity making it feel like 100 for these next 4-5 days I think is about enough for me for this summer. Been a hot one.

Just got back from seeing Rollins. We both noticed he didn't sound congested today! I hope that when the vet checks him out (they said most likely Friday when I asked today) that he will get cleared to go home by Saturday. That's my hope. I'd like to have the weekend to get him adapted a little before having to work next week. We will see though. He definitely recognizes us right away and all this guy wants to do is play. I just hope he will adjust when he comes to an open place where he can go wherever he wants.

That's awesome!!! I'm glad he made it back to you and Harlowe safely. I plan to mark my 40th safely on the ground with a trip either to the smokey mountains of Tennessee or an RV road trip visiting as many cheesy places and Cracker Barrels as humanly possible in 10 days!

Glad Gracie is doing good, but hopefully she gets back into a good food routine soon. Please give her hugs for us, too!

My parents always say that after Jazzie leaves our place, or I leave their place, she won't eat her food. I couldn't imagine why! Ha ha!
