Good evening, Solice!
I hope this finds you better!!

Our garden has just about played out. I guess the sun and heat was just too much for it. I'm still growing bell peppers, but the squash, cucumbers and tomatoes have given up.

Moles and heat have about done in my garden ~ it is a depressing sight to see.

Good evening!

It is horribly humid out and as a result I have a rather nasty headache. Going to take something for it in a few because I'll be up for several hours yet tonight. Waiting for it to cool down some more before I open the windows and if it isn't cloudy out, I'm going to look for shooting stars. It hasn't been a fruitless search as it is many years I hunt them, saw a gorgeous one early this morning when I was standing on the road in front of my house (the only area with a fairly clear view of the sky). Unfortunately, I scared a deer and the poor thing ran off into the woods the other side of the road, snorting all the way. :(

Be cool and Merry!!

A question for all of you... just out of curiosity sake. Do the towns/cities you live in still have a tree lighting ceremony? Here in Sioux Falls, it is the Saturday after Thanksgiving at the very end of the "Parade of Lights".
:locotree

My town still does it, it is all paid for by donations now. They even set up a gofundme account to help out with the costs. All the towns decorations are done by volunteers. The lighting usually is the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

Adrian went skydiving yesterday, to commemorate turning 40!!!

I was a nervous wreck!! ...so glad it went well, and he came home safe.

He had am amazing experience!! I'm stoked for him!
I can handle any amusement park ride, but I would never be able to get up the nerve for that.

What a way to celebrate 40.
