Days to Christmas Day: 120
And looking ahead still further (but really not that much further) we perceive that the ONE HUNDRED DAY CHRISTMAS DAY WINDOW is now LESS than 3 weeks away.
(Put that in your eggnog cup and sip it!)
The heat and humidity is back.
Oh boy, is it ever back!
We had the hottest high of the entire summer yesterday, with heat index figures in the triple digits.
More of the same predicted for today and maybe even worse.
It has started off at an already too warm 80 degrees here this morning.
Well, regardless the weather, I predict a Wondrous Weekend, starting with a Sensational Saturday!

Got up an hour ago,5:30AM, feeling sick and tired.

My hubby ended up having to take Leo back to the vet last night @ 5:30. Leo would not leave that nail alone so they ended up removing it and they put him on an antibiotic for a precaution. He seems to be better now and he slept through the night.
We are not up to much today...I am going to catch up on laundry and we are going to a friend's house for dinner.

The last 4 months of the year are absolutely the best. It's what I long for the other 8 months also. I almost had Michelle talked into getting the fall decorations out. But with my bum shoulder, I wouldn't be able to help her get the totes out of the attic. Bummer.

My should is doing very well for only four days past the surgery. It still wakes me up a night, but that's to be expected. Plain ole Advil is working for pain, so I'm glad about that. PT starts Monday. Looking forward to getting this shoulder strengthened so I'll be ready to get those Christmas decorations out of the attic in November.

Today is work day number four (actually just ended), so coffee some pumpkin bread (made two loaves yesterday morning) and some well earned sleep. But I have a full set of three days beginning tomorrow for church, yard work and going through a ton of Christmas decorating stuff. It will be intense and nice at the same time. 65 degrees right now with an expected high of 74. Lots of rain last night, perfect for snoozing. Have a great weekend Snowflake 22 and all my Winter Wonderland friends.

Hope he is doing much better. With two dogs, four cockatiels and tons of fish in this house, I can "really" understand. Have fun tonight and all weekend long. Here is a photo of Mater's tire Christmas Tree for you to enjoy.
120 days until Christmas!?! When and how did this happen. I know I countdown along with you all here and on my own, however time seems to be moving so fast.
It feels like yesterday when a group of us on the "does anyone else do this" thread were counting the amount of homes that still had their Christmas lights still on. Incredible.
