Christmas Countdown - 2016

Salutations, Christmas friends, from soggy southeast Georgia!

It's been pouring since well before daylight this morning, but the wind isn't really supposed to hit us for another couple hours. Even then, I don't think it's supposed to get over 50MPH. That's still pretty rough, but not as bad as some were predicting. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and nice. Come on Saturday!

It's rough enough, though, that we cancelled our regular Friday lunch with mom. I didn't want her out driving in the rain & wind.

Having a BBQ Monday. Gonna see some fireworks tonight for the close of the park. Weekend in between maybe just some errands. You?

Cranberry, Ginger and Spiced apple are my favourite festive flavours. I am waiting for a favourite of mine to appear too - It's a Bonfire Toffee Apple Cider. Taste of Autumn/Halloween in a bottle.

Well, the office closed at noon ... we're still here in my department. Don't know how long, but I heard somebody say, "Well, I guess I know what we're doing this weekend ..." I hope it isn't as bad as that.

Happy Friday Everyone! Well we were suppose to head to the shore this weekend but Hermine has other plans so we will be staying home. Temps are suppose to be in the low 70s this weekend, maybe a good time to break out the Halloween movies. Had a cold front pass yesterday so I was able to shutoff of the AC and open the windows. It felt so fall like this morning that on my way into work I stopped for a cup of Pumpkin Spice Coffee!

I hope everyone in Hermine's path stays safe.
