Good Morning, MMC!!! Aww, a Sunday without the dread that normally comes with it. You gotta love three day weekends!! Unfortunately today does bring a warm up here and the end of the fall like temps that September 1st brought with it. It was nice while it lasted though and thankfully they will be here to stay soon. Or at least I hope. Today is going to be a day filled with fast cars for me. First will be the NHRA dragsters racing about 30 miles away from me and then NASCAR from Darlington. Even though my favorite driver is out the rest of the year, it should still be a good day and with that, let's race on in to the count-

Days to the Season: 70
Days to Christmas Day: 112

We are so close to the 100 day Mark that the excitement is almost palpable. Then shortly after that, we'll hit the 3/4 Mark and every race fan knows, that's when the real fun begins!! So just like in racing where cautions breed cautions, in the 'bers holidays breed holidays and tomorrow starts it all off. We truly are entering, the most wonderful time of the year.

Merry Sunday Morning,
I woke up to some rough weather this morning but I think it will clear during the day. Had a great Saturday. We watched Harry Potter and The Haunted Mansion. It was a perfect rainy, chilly day for them too.

Off to work shortly. Hope you guys are enjoying your holiday weekend!

Here too Summer temps are coming back full force this week. Enjoy the races today. Can't believe we're almost 100 days from Christmas, it's really exciting! Hope the rest of your long weekend will be a great one.

Good morning everyone! Yesterday we didn't get too far with movie night, got in only 1 before turning in. We watched Keanu. It had its moments but I thought it would have been much funnier. The kitten was so adorable though. Today we'll Watch The Nice Guys and Sicario.

All this week they are predicting temps in the mid to high 80s. Looks like Summer is hanging on. We'll try and get the grocery shopping done before it gets too warm and then I have loads of laundry to do and hopefully I'll be done early so I can relax the rest of the day.

Wishing all of you a great Sunday!

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Looks like the storm will stay far enough away from us that we won't get too much of it. We may get a little rain and some wind but nothing terrible is what I'm hearing. We could have used the rain to be honest (without the wind). We'll see though. Rollins was up and ready to go. That was his best night of sleep since he came home. He slept right through and so did I. Guess we played too much yesterday. Glad we have Monday off as an extra day. Last Sunday without NFL football!
Have a great Sunday everyone!

Good morning ~
Merry Sunday!
Not too much planned for us the next couple of days. They're still tracking Hermine, the current track puts the storm off the southern coast of the island where it's expected to stall for a few days. The biggest concern is flooding in the coastal areas, where I'm located, and damage from the strong winds. We'll see what happens. Hopefully it won't be too bad. The wind is going to pick up and increase throughout the day. My husband has the generator in case the power goes out. I just wish the storm was going to move through the area quicker. Poor Maggie, I'm a always a nervous wreck about taking her outside in that kind of weather. Anyway, I hope everyone that is in the path of the storm stays safe.
Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Hope the storm stays away from you HMG! By the way, do you find Maggie hates the rain/water? Cause Nitro used to hate getting wet (raining out or baths would go crazy) and now I found taking Rollins out in the rain one day he didn't want to stay out long. He even raced for the door to come in lol.

Well, enjoy your longer summer. It will probably get colder soon enough so it's good to enjoy the warmth while you can! Have a relaxing Sunday :)

I think that doing little is often underestimated. Enjoy your lazy Sunday! I hope that everything turns out okay with the storm!
