Greetings all my Frosty friends. Been an interesting morning and afternoon thus far. Did some major laundry around 3AM. Items too big for the home machine, so I went to an all night laundromat. From there I headed off to the church from around 5AM until 8:30AM. Then time to drop off a computer needing repair and a birthday delivery to a friend. Now, I get to see if the "Sandman" will make a visit, but the day would not be complete without a word or two for all of you. I trust everyone is in good health, uplifted spirits and ready for the Ber's to kick into high gear.

I wish snow was even remotely possible for us down here, but if we want enough to scrape together a couple of snowballs we have to trek up the mountain.

Good afternoon ... got the hallway and kids bedroom carpets steamed cleaned and took our over sized comforter down to the laundrymat to wash, it was way to big to fit in our washer and dryer. Good Lord laundrymats are expensive. Got the heat vets cleaned out ... just in time too as it looks like we will have to turn the AC back on for a few days. Temps back into the 90s for the end of the week and half the weekend. Its been so nice having the windows opened and the fresh air blowing through the house. I am so over the 90 degree temps. I want the fall temps to stay for a while.

Since labor day weekend has officially come and gone I think I may put my fall flag out and place my fall wreath on my door. Was going to wait until later this month but .....

Well got the ham in the in oven, guess I should start working on the sides in a few.

I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!! I ran errands all morning and then took mom for a doctor's appointment. Whew is it hot out there and tomorrow is going to be even worse. Hurry up fall!!!!

I say go for it! I'm proudly decorated and ready for the weather to catch up!
Half of our neighborhood is, too. I think Christmas is going to be fun here!

It's naptime at work, so I'm trying to come up with a rough schedule of our holiday happenings (which is such a 70s word, I love using it lol). This would be a lot easier if I have my hardcopy planner with me lol! So far I know we're doing cookies, gingerbread houses, going up to the mountains to see snow, doing winterhaven (a neighborhood in our town dedicated to putting up huge light displays, and the public can tour them either on foot, in a horse drawn carriage, or a trolley! It's magical and I love it), and I'm trying to find a nice church we can go to for a Christmas service that's more singing then preaching. We don't practice any religion but some of my favorite Christmas memories are going to church with my grandma and singing the songs and drinking a tiny cup of Walsh's grape juice and eating the 'Jesus cookie', as my cousin calls it.

I remember doing that in Las Vegas! I missed snow so much, that we'd rent a cabin there each winter. That's where my husband proposed.

I put some fall decor around my desk at the office, and though one person accused me (jokingly) of pushing the season, most liked it!

I was so excited to see the start of Halloween in the shops earlier. I hope there will be some good things this year. Just finished preparing the boys uniforms for tomorrow and polishing their shoes.

Spoke to mum, she's having to take Miley to the Vet later so praying that she will be okay and nothing serious. Thankful that mum is back with her and the other cats.
