Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be another hot day here with some rain this afternoon as well. I have a few errands to run this morning and then this afternoon is going to be all about packing and picking up the rental car. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Good Morning, Everyone!

And here we are again. As we are every morning. Fulfilling our obligations by attending to the all-important count.

Thus we present today's installment:
Days to the Season: 66
Days to Christmas Day: 108
But every day sees a change. A change in the numbers and a change in our proximity to the next Milestone.
As a matter of fact, the next marker, the 100-day Christmas Day Window, stands just EIGHT days off. That's ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW, after which both our our count numbers will be in double digits and we can really begin to feel that inevitable acceleration starting!


A bit warmer yesterday as the heat builds back. The weather service says we could again experience triple digit heat index figures by this afternoon.
(Of course, since we are now in September, we know that can't last too much longer.......right?)
Currently, our back door thermometer tells us it is 72 degrees outside.

Sounds wonderful! I am staying with mom tomorrow night & not a lot of lake neighbors are coming up this weekend, so we may just hang at home. Our HS Football team has probably their biggest game of the year tomorrow night, so Jim is going to the game. It's supposed to be rainy so a relaxing weekend is sounding pretty nice! I hope you get to relax & do just exactly what you want to do!

If that isn't the cutest picture I don't know what is! Harlowe could show my Cup a thing or two - mostly how a true lady behaves while being photographed. I've put bows on Buttercup (who is a Pit Bull by the way) and the look she gives is a subtle way "flippin me the paw". LMAO "is this what I have to endure to get a treat from you woman?"

She was digging in the dirt Tuesday night so she was good 'n dirty for her appointment. Kelly said she had to scrub her nose & Gracie was looking at her like "What are you doing to me?!?"

My brother thinks it's funny how he follows me around everywhere when I'm home. I think Nitro was a little closer to him and Rollins is a little closer to me. But they both love both of us.

Happy Friday Eve!

I'm hoping that everyone's morning has gotten off to a great start. Day 3 of our morning routine went better than yesterday I'm happy to report. Lizzy still over slept but not nearly as much as yesterday morning so that's good. We left on time with all smiles!

I've arrived here at work where I'm sipping pumpkin spice coffee flavored with none other than pumpkin spice creamer and I'm luvin it! I don't have any pressing meetings today so I plan to make sure that all of my ducks are in a row for the start of next week's clinics and scheduling yesterday's patients for their nutrition classes. I also plan to lock down a potluck dish for our annual church picnic. So I'll be browsing Pinterest today looking for inspiration.

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

Yesterday afternoon I worked in the yard, finally cleaning up all the downed limbs from the storm last Friday. Some of them were big enough to require the chainsaw, but it made short work of them. I wound up with a pickup truck load, and I was bleeding from my right arm and me left leg, but I got it done!

Later, the kids went to youth at church, so Nancy and I grilled hotdogs and watched the two previous episodes of Fear The Walking Dead. I want it to be as good as TWD, but it really has a looooong way to go.
