This reminded me of the time I was on my way home carrying at least 10 bags of Christmas shopping and a very large turkey. The streets were busy with people everywhere and I could barely see. Someone bumped into me and I tripped and fell. The turkey flew into the air, landed in the street and rolled through traffic!!!!!!!!!

Ohhh the humiliation.
Oh, yikes! I hope someone stopped to help!

I'll just say Happy Thursday! now and back out.
I'm in a bad mood because of local road construction and a co-worker with attitude ... and Mr. has a rough day ahead; he's attending the wake of a longtime co-worker who passed away suddenly last weekend at the tender age of 38.
I'm sorry for Mr.'s loss. I hope your day gets better, MerryCarey.

Sounds like a reason to CELEBRATE!! :D :p

Big fans at my house! DH named DD after one of the Next Generation characters & he has a huge Star Trek collection. He bought a few new things over the weekend and found tons more than he would love to have. DD even got a Star Trek lanyard to wear to school to keep her locker key on...

I have my kitchen fall decor out and my outdoor fall flag up. Hopefully I go through the "fall tote" and get the rest of it out. I don't have a lot of fall decor, but plenty of Christmas decor!
Your husband sounds like a smart man. Don't let him get away! :D

38 is far too young, bless his heart. It's difficult to lose co-workers, especially those with whom you've worked for years. I'm sorry for Mr.'s loss.

Praying for Mr. and the family of the deceased today. Hope your day gets better!

Have fun decorating!!! :)

Got home about an hour ago and now that I am about caught up with all you serious Santa servants, I can take this moment for greeting all the MMC people out there.
The NFL begins tonight, which means I need to get to bed a little earlier so I can watch it before I head off to work.
It is a cool 58 degrees currently and only suppose to hit the lower 70's by the afternoon. Hopefully the A/C is done for the year. Found a really nice fireplace DVD with Christmas music playing. It is a peaceful way to fall to sleep. I hope everyone is well.
For Snowflake22. I hope your trip was relaxing and safe.
For Ryan... if we keep up exchanging DYO & WIYF at this rate, we will run out before Christmas...
For Bradmac. "Live Long & Prosper!"
For Edge. Are you ready for some football?
For Missiechick. Is that coffee regular or decaffeinated?
For Festive Spirit. At least you have a Thanksgiving story about the one that "almost" got away.
For SnowflakeMom. Where are you?;)I always enjoy reading your posts.
For Holiday. Keep the spirit alive, you do it so well.
For MerryCarey. I pray the love from everyone here will help today and always.
If I missed anyone, I promise to catch up with you all later.peace-on-earth-550x320.jpg

LOL Love that!
Enjoy the game later and rest well!

I hope it never comes to that! But I have seen them as close as the yard across the street. A few years ago, one flew across the road in front of my car. Seeing a turkey fly is pretty bizarre!
Yikes!!!

Thanks, I did! We recorded most of it. It's being broadcast again Sunday, I think, so we can record the whole thing. I really enjoyed "Donde Esta Santa Claus" and "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch." And their medley of carols. In the first part of the show, they did a killer 1950s medley.
Awesome!!!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

Yesterday afternoon I worked in the yard, finally cleaning up all the downed limbs from the storm last Friday. Some of them were big enough to require the chainsaw, but it made short work of them. I wound up with a pickup truck load, and I was bleeding from my right arm and me left leg, but I got it done!

Later, the kids went to youth at church, so Nancy and I grilled hotdogs and watched the two previous episodes of Fear The Walking Dead. I want it to be as good as TWD, but it really has a looooong way to go.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Happy Friday Eve, Brad~
Glad you were able to clean up all of the downed limbs, hope you're okay.
Have a great day!

Happy Friday Eve!

I'm hoping that everyone's morning has gotten off to a great start. Day 3 of our morning routine went better than yesterday I'm happy to report. Lizzy still over slept but not nearly as much as yesterday morning so that's good. We left on time with all smiles!

I've arrived here at work where I'm sipping pumpkin spice coffee flavored with none other than pumpkin spice creamer and I'm luvin it! I don't have any pressing meetings today so I plan to make sure that all of my ducks are in a row for the start of next week's clinics and scheduling yesterday's patients for their nutrition classes. I also plan to lock down a potluck dish for our annual church picnic. So I'll be browsing Pinterest today looking for inspiration.

Wishing you all have a wonderful day and stay blessed.
So glad day 3 went even better!
Enjoy your pumpkin spice coffee!
I stopped and picked one up on the way into the office today, too. Mmmm!
Hope you find a great recipe for the potluck dish!
Have a wonderful day :)
