Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning ~
Happy Saturday!
Just a quick hello, busy day for me. I'm heading out soon to get my food shopping over with. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. We have to attend a surprise birthday party this afternoon for my nephew as well. I'll pop back in later this evening. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Good Morning, Weekend Appreciators!
(And we do appreciate these little 2-day respites, don't we?)

But what do we REALLY appreciate?
One guess.

That's right, this:
Days to the Season: 64
Days to Christmas Day: 106

And what we truly, TRULY appreciate is the fact that the 100-day Christmas Day Window is now LESS THAN ONE WEEK AWAY!
(Is that even possible?
Yep.
Just check out the Countdown Chart.)

A slow back-away from the heat and humidity is in progress. It will take a while but by the middle of next week, it is predicted to feel pretty close to comfortable.
This morning has commenced here in our part of the MMC Nation at 78 degrees.

I hope this morning was the LAST of our HOT and HUMID half marathon training team runs. It was a short one, but it felt like a long one because of the heat! READY FOR FALL WEATHER! Looks like we might finally start getting there this week. Time will tell.

Hoping to buy a new mattress today-ours is just too small and we finally saved enough for it! Wish us luck!

It's a gorgeous, Autumnal morning!
Currently 56°, with a high of 70° today.
We are going to have some coffee and pumpkin bread soon, and then take Harlowe for a walk.
One of my girlfriends still hasn't been by the new house, so she is going to come over later this afternoon & stay for the evening. Harlowe will be excited to see her, too.
In between then, I have some fall magazines and a book to finish!

Afternoon,
The match is over but the boys are continuing their football fever with a match down at the local club. While they are gone for a couple of hours, I am watching The Lake House. I've never seen it before but saw it on a list of movies to watch in Autumn. So far very nice scenery.

Yeah my run this morning was HOT but I'm thinking this may be one of the last real hot ones till next spring!

Good Saturday everyone! Yep it's still hot and humid here too but they are predicting a very cool Sunday. Got all of our grocery shopping done this morning and now we're watching random YouTube videos while a load is in the wash. Thinking of doing a Mr. Robot marathon this afternoon to finish season 1. That or Stranger Things on Netflix. Hope you will all have a great day!
