A week that will see us safely to our next Milestone AND to a new beginning!

The Milestone?
It's the 100-day Christmas Day Window.
The new beginning?
Why, the start of a DOUBLE-DOUBLE DIGIT COUNT, which will carry us into the fast lane of our journey to the 2016 Holiday Season!


Well, I was expecting a weather improvement yesterday but was somewhat disappointed as the rather warm, humid conditions continued for another day.
But not to worry, the weather service says nice weather is just around the corner this week.
And we all know that if the weather service says it, it must be so.
(Uh-huh.)
This new week morning has commenced here at 73 degrees under a bright, sunny sky.

Good Monday Morning MMC! What a beautiful morning! It's perfect weather out today. A little chilly (well compared to the summer it makes you feel chilly). Rollins had a lot of fun this weekend and actually was sleeping early on Sunday evening. He must have tired himself out (I know he tires me out). Anyway, I love this weather and it definitely makes me happy on a Monday. Speaking of I better get some work done .

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend & your Monday is off to a good start! It's chilly outside this morning! Gracie was loving it!
We had a pretty relaxing weekend - I stayed with Mom Friday night, Jim went to the football game. Saturday morning I made cinnamon rolls at moms - new recipe! I brought her lunch & then the rest of the day was FREE! We had friends/neighbors over Saturday night on the patio. Yesterday we had chicken dinner tickets - mom came over & we ate on the patio. Then we had a b-day party for our Godchildren at our friends house for supper. The night ended up at another friends house for a bonfire. POOF, Monday again!

Good evening,

I made it through another busy weekend at work. I now have tomorrow and Tuesday off.
I was able to watch the Bengals game after I got home, won a squeeker against Edge's Jets, (sorry Edge)it was a good game.
I can barely keep my eyes open at this point.

I also have today off to get a few things done. There were a lot of great games yesterday. I am 9-5 on my picks so far for the first week. Bengals got things together and finished well.

I also have today off to get a few things done. There were a lot of great games yesterday. I am 9-5 on my picks so far for the first week. Bengals got things together and finished well.

They have a good team. I could see them going to the Superbowl.

Nice here too with a cool 60 degrees outside. Of course all those years in ND has made it a lot easier to have the 60's still feel nice. I did enjoy it and so far my picks are better than 50%. I never gamble, but it is a nice little game to play at NFL.com.

A full day to say the least. But those that come with lasting memories are always welcome. I will have a busy Monday and see if I can't find time to take Connie out for either breakfast or lunch.

Good afternoon! Just got home from school. Time to relax a little bit. The temperature is heading in the right direction, we are getting some 70s in the next couple of days.

First weekend of real NFL! Go Browns!

I need to get some grading done this weekend, but I think we may start getting the Halloween stuff out this weekend.

I hope everyone is having a great Friday! Relax and make sure to have some fun.

Well, the Browns are off to a stellar start again! Ha ha! I didn't get to see the game, but I caught the end on the radio! Maybe this week will be better. xx

Ahhh, Monday morning. Relaxing Sunday, some good games, way too much food and a perfect start to the week. The Vikes came through (even if it was mostly defense) and I am above 50% (so far) on my "Weekly Pick em'" entries.
Today will consist of getting a few chores done and maybe some BBQ or a slow-cooker meal for this evening. Have not decided yet. Depends on what is in the freezer... lol
I hope everyone is doing well. Two games on tonight to finish the first week of the NFL, but not being a huge ESPN fan, I will probably listen to them on the radio. It takes me back when I do that. There was a time that if you wanted to listen to different games, that was the only way to do it.

I remember when it was the same for watching Nascar races. They only had Daytona and Talladega on tv,and we got that by a roof antenna..lol.

Local Weatherman just said he thinks today will be our last "90 degree" day till 2017. We'll see.

It looks pretty promising for us! We have a high of 83 predicted tomorrow, 80 Wed, 82 Friday - but all other days in the 15 day forecast don't get out of the 70's. Mostly high 70's but I'm good with that!

I hope everyone is having a good day!! We made it to PA without any problems and are resting before our reunion tomorrow. Well after we went to the candy store and out to dinner at one of our favorite places back here.

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

What a long, hot, busy weekend! I got out and did all the edging Saturday morning, and that's a job! We're on a 1 acre corner lot with curbing and sidewalks, so I was out there till early afternoon. Then Jacob and I went hunting, sitting in the 95° sun with little to show for it! Then I went home to finish cleaning up from all the edging. After all that, I soaked in the pool till I was all shriveled up.

After church and lunch with mom yesterday, I went hunting again. I don't typically like to hunt on Sunday, but it was the last day of this short "first" season. Anyway, it was another 95° day with no breeze and no birds. Whew! Back in the pool for me!

I watched most of the 9/11 name-reading before and after church. 15 years ago, and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Bless their hearts. This old world deserves some peace, seriously.

It's supposed to cool to the upper 80's this week!!

Yeah I'm actually doing really well in my work league. Got 10 games right (I never do well the first few weeks).
