Good Morning, Folks.
Some people chase Pokemon.
For us here at MMC, it's Milestones.
(And we just about have the next one caught!)

Days to the Season: 59
Days to Christmas Day: 101

And in the cross hairs of our sights, we see the ONE HUNDRED DAY CHRISTMAS DAY WINDOW, upon which we are closing fast.
In fact, capture is imminent tomorrow!
(Don't you just love ** MILESTONE DAYS **?)

The heat just keeps hanging on as the cooling is almost imperceptibly gradual.
But at least it's in the right direction, with comfortable temps not far off now.
Currently, we are starting this morning at 71 degrees in our part of MMC.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
And it's not too early to look forward to Weekend Eve tomorrow!
Exciting!!!!
Thanks, Crown!
Happy Friday Eve~

How did you like Betty White as Mrs Claus? The voice was perfect for the story.

I think the question and shorter list would be is there anything Betty cannot do?

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!! Woot!

It's a beautiful, chilly, sunny day! For the 1st time this season our house was cooler this morning than what our AC was set on! I noticed the volunteers who were working in the park this morning had flannel shirts/jackets on. There's a sign of the season! BUT we'll be back up to 85º tomorrow, & forecasted to stay in the 80's until Sept. 24th! Better soak up the heat while I can! ;)

Everyone, have a fabulous day!

Happy Friday Eve, Holiday!!
Stay cozy & enjoy the sunshine!!
Have a great day!! ;)

Morning all. I think I am caught up, so here goes. As I am typing, rain and thunder are present overhead. That's okay, it is dry inside and I can always sleep to rain and thunder. Christmas is making it's appearance at Wal-Mart. Not because I think they want it up so soon, but we got 18 pallets of it and since storage is sparse this time of year, it might as well go up.
The last triple digit day of our wonderful, annual countdown. The outside will hold off slightly until after Thanksgiving (though I will have it staked out) to make room for an inflatable turkey and a couple of happy scarecrows. But the inside is already beginning to see the early stages.
Had a nice breakfast, on my third cup of "Joe" (no it does not keep me up) and getting ready for a little study time before the sandman visits.
I hope everyone one of you (from those who have been on MMC for awhile to the newest members) have a joyous and memorable Thursday and a peaceful weekend.

Happy Friday Eve!

Today we woke up to cool temps and a cloudy sky. There was no indication that it was supposed to rain. Lizzybeth grabbed up her umbrella just in case and I said that I would risk not taking mine because I have one at the office should I need one later on. My neighbor gave me a lift into the city this morning as her office building is right next to mine and we noticed that the ground was wet. Apparently the city experienced a heavy downpour only about 30 mins or so before I got in - so I missed it. YAY! The high is supposed to be only in the upper 70's.

London's second day at work was exciting as she prevented a couple who had been going to various stores with a huge suspicious backpack from stealing from her store. She tried calling me on her break to tell me all about it but I was in church and the phone was on vibrate. So as soon as she came through the door last night she couldn't wait to give me the details. I remember those days when working retail - UGH the absolute worst!

I've got to start looking for replacement earbuds as mine have stopped working. I'm not to upset after all I got them for 8.99 and they lasted two years so I feel like I got my monies worth. I borrowed a pair from London for today but I'll search Amazon today and place an order because I cannot ride the train everyday without my earbuds.

Everyone have a great day and stay blessed!
Happy Friday Eve, Ladybugkisses!
Merry Friday Eve~
Glad you missed the rain! The temperatures sound beautiful, enjoy.
Way to go, London! :)
Hope you have a wonderful day!

85° isn't too bad, especially if the humidity is low.

A South Georgia blessing:

May your skeeters die a horrible death,
May your gnats be pestered to death by a thousand small flying bugs in their ears,
and may your humidity be ever low.

:D
:p Love it, Brad!

Good morning ~
Happy Thursday!
It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 73 degrees. Typical day for me, I have a couple of errands to run and then I'll be working on my daily chores. I'll also begin decorating at some point, so excited about that :)
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
Thoughts and prayers ♥

Hope you are able to sleep well. Love to sleep to rain & a little thunder! And I love that Christmas is appearing at Wal-Mart! :jump
Have a great day!

Thanks, I was going to ask if you were planning to see it?
We seldom get a chance to go to the movies, and Nancy refuses to watch scary movies on the big screen, so I'll prolly have to wait for the video.

I hope it's good & scary!

Happy Thursday/Friday Eve, Brad!
That is hilarious about the lawn competition your neighbor has going ;)
reminds me of the Hallmark Christmas movie "Battle Of The Bulbs" and "Deck The Halls" too. Does he do that with Christmas decorations, too?! :D
Have a great day!!
As a matter of fact, he DOES get competitive with decorations!:D

Good morning snowflake!!

Do you have tomorrow off work? Sounds like a great weekend!

Tomorrow night I am staying with Mom. Saturday I'm going with the lake girls to my favorite craft barn for her fall open house, then to a Tavern out that way which has awesome pizza for lunch, then the farmers market for pumpkins & mums (if it's not raining.) Saturday night we'll have a bonfire (again, if it's not raining) & we'll put my Ohio State Buckeyes vs. @Ryan 's Oklahoma on the big screen & tailgate, etc. at the lake! :) Sunday we have no plans that I know of!

Have a fabulous day my friend!
::wave
