Christmas Countdown - 2016

We never get out early for anything unless we do it on our own...but the day before Thanksgiving every year we plan it to leave by 1PM.

Advertising is a business that gets very tense and intense at times, and the management understands that. So, although we never know on a given day whether work will be over by 5 or 6 or 7, or occasionally later, they make up for that by trying to close the office early on the Friday before a Monday holiday, or early on the day before Thanksgiving or Christmas or July Fourth. (Doesn't always help the department I work in; if the office closes at 1 p.m., it's not unusual for us to not finish until 2 or 3 or even 4. But you take what you can get!)

Happy Friday and Milestone Day!! I am late logging on due to work meetings...ugh!! Not too much planned for the weekend. My daughter has a soccer game tomorrow at 11 and then we will probably go out for lunch. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Yeah, the day is going good. I picked up Lulu at lunch so she could ride to the bank with me. She's learned that the drive-thru window keeps dog biscuits, so she's hanging out the window, hamming it up.

But she got her biscuit!

Exactly. Everywhere you work there's some things that are good and some that aren't as good. People complained at every job I've been at "this is the worst place" lol...I'm like they can't all be the worst place! Unless every job is tied for worst/best?

Harlowe gets a biscuit at a nearby McDonalds, she loves going there with Adi! My girlfriend loves going to Caribou coffee, and they give her pup Chloe a small Doggie iced latte!

The local BBQ place gave her a smoked boston butt bone, one time. LOL She was in heaven for a while, but I had to take it from her. She was actually starting to crack the bone!

Ok, I just had to jump on to say it's such a fall day. The temps are hovering around 75ish but on the cooler side of that. The sun is hiding so that makes it feel even cooler than the 75 would suggest. Clearly the wrong day for me to wear a bare legs and a denim skirt on casual Friday. I wish I could say that I plan to go straight home after work but I do plan to get my brows done so that means the temps will continue to drop by the time I leave for home. Luckily I do have my denim jacket but that does nothing for my legs. I feel like with every passing day fall is creeping in on us more and more. Tomorrow promises to be in the low 80's.
