Good afternoon, everyone!

Happy Double Double Digits Day! It was a nice morning in Canada's Capital. The sun was shining and we had a nice autumn atmosphere. Temperatures reached about 22c/73f. Now, we're taking in a bit of rain... and we probably will be for the rest of the day.

It's a good thing I got in my 12km run through the hills and trails of Gatineau Park during the nice part of the day. In an area that is surrounded by nature, there hasn't been much fall foliage change there. Still plenty of green!

Today, Kim and I plan to do our normal Saturday activities. We have to make a few purchases and then do some groceries. Personally, I need new pants for teaching and jeans for any occasion, too. I don't like shopping too much, but I guess I don't mind it so much this time of year. It gives me the opportunity to walk around and search for some buddings.

Well, Kim should be home from the gym shortly. I told her I would have her lunch ready for when she arrived, so that we can leave as soon as she's done. I hope you all have been having a great Saturday thus far.

Enjoy the weekend! Hopefully you can spot some signs of Christmas budding around you!

Good Morning!

Post-Milestone, we are.
But we are also Pre-Milestone.
(It is ever thus!)

Days to the Season: 57
Days to Christmas Day: 99

Whoo, Hoo!!
Both of our counts below a hundred now --- DOUBLE-DOUBLE DIGITS.
Wowzerinos!!

Ah! At last!
Yesterday finally showed a noticeable improvement in the humidity situation, with cooler temps as well. I hope this holds for a while!
We have started off this fine weekend at 70 calm degrees here in the heart of Panther country.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Folks.
And may you have a Memorable Weekend as well!
There's a local restaurant chain up here called 99---maybe we should have lunch there today to celebrate! :)

Hi friends! Happily sprawled on the couch after this morning's 7 miler-a first for me! Half marathon training is going great! Sad to have missed out on Milestones this week but so happy to be here with you today! Hope everyone has a great Saturday! I'm going to watch some football and clean around the apartment!
Merry Saturday, DYHWIH~
Hope you have a fabulous day!

Good afternoon snowflake22. Sorry to hear the movie wasn't as good as you had hoped but sounds like you still had a great date night. No plans for the day other than catching up on our dvr. But right now hubby is helping a friend move a couple of large pieces of furniture so it'll wait a bit. What's on the grill for tonight?
Good afternoon, Martine~
That sounds like a nice relaxing day!
That is very kind of your husband. We try to do the same when we can, as we appreciate those who helped us.
We are grilling pork chops tonight!
What's on the menu for dinner, for you guys?

Good Saturday afternoon! I was up around 7:30 but I guess I didn't sleep enough because by 10:30 I went back to sleep. Now I'm awake and catching up online, waiting for David to be back from helping a friend move some furniture. Plan is to catch up on our dvr and watch more of Stranger Things on Netflix. So far rain is holding off. But my seasonal allergies are not. Wishing everyone a great day!
Hope you get some relief from your allergies soon. Thinking of you.
Have fun watching stranger things!!
I recommended it to my sister-in-law, and she is not a big one for sitting down & watching TV. She loved it! Bummed that she has to wait for season 2.
Have a wonderful day !

Thanks, snowflake! I hope you are able to spot some buds, too. Have a wonderful Saturday. :)

As always, I am excited to ensure that that 2016 is the best Blossoms thread yet!
Went by Crabtree for lunch today. No sign of "A Christmas To Remember", but just in case they don't appear in time, I got a couple of shots at Hallmark. They never disappoint!

Have fun with Rollins! It's still shorts weather here, for at least another week if weather predictions are right.
That's one of the things I hate about summer ending...get so comfortable for months going out in shorts every day. I forget what it's like to wear long pants (except when I go to work). Small price to pay for all the fun stuff we have coming the rest of 2016!

Shorts are meant for year round..lol!! Although I do hold off until its absolutely unbearable to wear em. I draw the line at anything below 20°.
