Merry Monday!

Please keep Harlowe in your prayers, fingers crossed they can get her in quickly today. She is in a lot of discomfort and just keeps running around with her head held low, tail under her legs, weaving in & out of our legs. She just won't sit still, can't seem to get comfortable. Breaks my heart. I really wish her vet was in today. Hopefully another one she has seen has an opening.

Oooo Snowflake I will certainly keep you and lil Harlowe in my prayers. It seems as though there are a few sick fur babies out there. My church member told me just yesterday that her little pup was feeling poorly and she had to take her to the vet. Breaks my heart to hear but I'll be praying for all our fur kids.

Well, FINALLY got Bambina's swingset put together for her birthday next week! We are having a party and then she will get to come home and look in the backyard. She has been really testy because we won't let her go and play in the backyard, but she will be ecstatic next week! We got five inches of rain last night, so I spent the day putting it together in the mud.

After we have her birthday, the weekend after I will start getting Christmas lights down and checking blown bulbs and getting ready to put them up. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I just wish it would cool down! We got up to 93 today. Hot and muggy will be the norm for the next few days!

She will be SO excited!! How fun!!

Good morning everyone, Happy Monday!
I'm just having my coffee and watching the local news. My husband and my oldest are off to work. I'm about to start another round of breakfast for my two youngest, they have classes today. We've had some heavy downpours on and off this morning, it's supposed to continue through out the day. I wanted to decorate outside but that might have to wait. I'm going to take a ride to Target at some point, other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I'm going to make a pot of Italian Wedding Soup for dinner. I also picked up burgers at my butcher in case someone isn't in the mood for soup. That's about it for me. Oh I put out a dish of candy corn this weekend and I can't stop eating it!

Germany is greeting
We are in the double digits of days leading to christmas.....and today seems to be Kandice and my start into the christmas season.
Been watching the first ep of The Great Christmas Light Fight and are now watching a Christmas Light Switch on show from some Disneyland....dunno which one.....which features, Else, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf.
Kandice has started to handcraft seating cards for Christmas Dinner......she also wants to do menu cards!
Today will be a total christmas day....nothing but christmas shows and christmas movies!!!! The weather plays along......until Thursday we had unusual hot weather for mid September.....around the mid 80s!!!! Now it´s around 70degrees and rainy!!!!!!

what do you think of this idea to create a fake fireplace? We don´t have one...so that would be nice to a better place to put the stockings in!!!

I will only have to find a way to get something in there that looks like a fire

Good morning ~
It's going to be cloudy today with a chance of a thunderstorm, highs near 80 degrees. There was a local craft fair that I wanted to go to, if it's not cancelled due to the weather. Not too much else going on, just going to take it easy today. Maggie has been so restless at night, I've been up with her a lot. Between the lack of sleep and my migraines, I just haven't been feeling well lately. I finished putting most of my Autumn decorations out, I'll post some pictures in Snowflakes thread when I get the chance. I still have to decorate outside, maybe I'll get to that today.

Good morning, friends~
Happy Sunday!
A foggy, brisk morning-currently at 49
degrees. Working our way back up to 80 degrees & sunshine today.
Harlowe had a rough evening yesterday, and we were up for part of the night with her. She was agitated. We will probably have to take her to the vet this week, hope her secondary vet can work her in tomorrow-she has a wound she won't leave alone. Worried about infection.
Today will be keeping an eye on her, doing laundry, and watching seasonal shows & football .

Yes we had some crazy weather last night! Heavy storms rolled in.
I thought of you, too! Wish we could have watched together. Oh that was a bad game for Oklahoma! Yikes! Great win for your Buckeyes! They looked like the real deal. After Florida State's embarrassing loss, OSU deserves to be number two (wish they'd be number one because I DON'T like Alabama ). Hope you had fun!

LOL - I'm not an Alabama fan either! But I'm not sure the Buckeyes deserve to be in the #2 spot. We'll find out!
It was fun to watch the game outside. It started out looking like it was going to be a nail biter but then the Buckeyes pulled away with it. Hope you had fun watching - well as much fan as you can have watching your team get beat...which is exactly what my Browns did yesterday. Ho hum!

Looks like I will be the first on Monday to say Good Morning. Such a crazy Sunday for me. Got off and decided to get "just a few" hours of sleep and then get up and enjoy the day. Then what? Next thing I knew it was just after 8PM. But I'm up now and will stay this way for awhile, so I can actually get things done tomorrow.
May take a short nap around 5 or 6AM.
Looks like the very low 80's may come back for a day of two, but the long range has us back in the mid 60's by the weekend.
I want to get the lawn done this morning and have a couple of errands to run, but then I'll try to get everything done prior to MNF.
I will probably still be here when you guys start to wake up, so let me leave you know with this image...

Very autumnal morning. Misty,chilly and very dull. I think we had the last of our warm weather last week. We are in the 50s this morning with the rest of the week staying there in the day and lower during the night.

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

don't know if I mentioned this or not so if I did just chalk this up to early morning brain fog. Anyway, we are going with Merry's suggestion of getting a smaller tree and placing it on our cedar chest. So the fun begins as we search for one. Neither Costco or Walmart had any out yet so am doing some looking online. Going to donate our well loved tree to someone who needs a nice tree this year.

(Now that's just plain hard to believe!)


The humidity was back up again yesterday and it was not as comfortable as I had hoped it would be.
Rain is possible for the next couple of days and we stand at 76 rather cloudy degrees here currently in the capital city.
