Those are great too. I love to buy a variety and take them to church for the Christmas Eve service. Since they were inspired by a Shepard's crook. I have found the ones that seem to go the fastest are the Hershey's Mint & Chocolate ones. Go figure!!!

Woot! I got a refill from Amazon of just peppermint to hold me over. I like the Jolly Ranchers also..just they arent plentiful. I have a even harder time finding those Lifesaver ones.

My youngest is doing so well at settling into school life. Me not so much

Feels like one day I'm holding his hand teaching him to walk and then suddenly those little feet are running away from me and he's waving me goodbye every morning. When and how did he get so big?

Anyway ...must get some work done . Have a day great all.

Harlowe had another rough evening, no relief from the anti-inflammatory medicine yet. When she is in pain, she gets very anxious and runs around frantically and it's hard to contain her. She is not used to a kennel, so putting her in one of those just agitates her more. She is also jumping on things when she is supposed to be resting her back. I really hope these meds kick in and give her some relief, so she can sit still and not make her condition even worse. If there is no change within a day or two, I will have to make another appointment for her for further testing.
Please keep her in your prayers, thanks.

It's going to be another warm September day here, sunny & 80 degrees.

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !!

We are having a nice hot summers last hooray week here. Since fall officially arrives on Thursday we will enjoy this. It is nice and cool in the evenings so the heat is not so bad as it was in the summer.
Only work 5 hours today which is good because I have to finish a cake for the fall fair that is due tomorrow.
Well back to work, I want to get apple in the dehydrator before I leave.

Well, the humidity is definintely back. Fortunately, however, the temperatures are not too high. Had a bit of precipitation yesterday.
We are standing just over 71 degrees at this hour here in the heart of central North Carolina and it looks like rain.

Merry Tuesday! I am off today so we will just be relaxing. I'm sure Carolina and I will end up at Target so I can have her show me what she wants for her birthday and Christmas. Go figure. I'm good now though with some coffee. Foggy here this morning is the word. It's mild & humid. The cool autumn weather still is on pace to arrive this weekend. Looking forward to that but right now just looking forward to today.

Thank you! We did. It's always a let down to come home. My daughter was so sad that we had to leave her Great grandma and Poppy. Even though they live only an hour and a half away we don't get to visit as often as we like to. We probably won't be up there again until after Thanksgiving or Christmas. They will come down for her birthday though which is nice. Just made me sad seeing her so sad

Awe! What a sweetie! Hope she is settled back into being home again!

Good evening, everyone!

A weird time for me to be on, I know. I am on the set of a small budget movie in Ottawa right now. There's nobody famous, but it's pretty neat. A colleague asked me if I would be interested in tutoring a young student actor (10th grade) and I agreed. The only bad part, really, is that the hours are a little weird. I likely will not be out of here until around 11.

I hope you all had a great weekend. My calendar says that we are in the final week before the debut of the Christmas Blossoms thread. How wonderful is that?
