Gracie & I did have fun at the lake. Her friend "Jake" come to play! He's a huge sweetie!! He's all tan, so we call him "Jake from State Farm" (of course!) HA!

Talking about tan. Ella got her first full grooming over the weekend and lost a lot of her gray. My niece cried when she saw her because she had changed so much.

Maggie's doing alright. Her coughing seems to be a bit better these days, she's on another round of antibiotics and she's taking the cough suppressant as well. But she's still waking up at night, I can tell it's because of the collapsing trachea. She'll usually go back to sleep after she calms down. Unfortunately I can not fall back to sleep as easily. Which doesn't make sense because I'm always exhausted!
I hope and pray Harlowe's medicine is giving her relief and that you both have a better night. Keeping all of you in my thoughts <3

Harlowe had another rough evening, no relief from the anti-inflammatory medicine yet. When she is in pain, she gets very anxious and runs around frantically and it's hard to contain her. She is not used to a kennel, so putting her in one of those just agitates her more. She is also jumping on things when she is supposed to be resting her back. I really hope these meds kick in and give her some relief, so she can sit still and not make her condition even worse. If there is no change within a day or two, I will have to make another appointment for her for further testing.
Please keep her in your prayers, thanks.

It's going to be another warm September day here, sunny & 80 degrees.

So happy to hear that Maggie is doing alright, continue prayers for her. Hope you both can rest more peacefully at night. I know where you're coming from, sometimes I'm so worried about her or preparing for her next episode that I work myself up and can't fall back asleep. Thinking of you.
Thank you, Adi is going to take first shift & I will wake up to check on them and take her out as needed. Last night she didn't even want to leave his side, so I brought water to her. Dislike the circumstances but they are so sweet together.

Sometimes I think our dogs sleep with one eye open...cause how do they always know when we're getting up no matter how quiet we are and how "sound asleep" they seem to be?
