Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good evening,

Another day done, you can tell the Eastern States Exposition is in full gear with this nice stretch of weather we have had. It was so slow at work today we were just trying to find things to keep us busy. It was an absolute ghost town today.
LC is feeling better, and heading back to school tomorrow.
If anyone has a Friendly's by them it is customer appreciation week, they are selling an all American burger and a Coke for $2. We will probably take advantage of that tomorrow.

That's a good sign if she is settling down a bit, I would think. Hope the three of you can enjoy a better night's sleep tonight.

Talking about tan. Ella got her first full grooming over the weekend and lost a lot of her gray. My niece cried when she saw her because she had changed so much.

Maggie's doing alright. Her coughing seems to be a bit better these days, she's on another round of antibiotics and she's taking the cough suppressant as well. But she's still waking up at night, I can tell it's because of the collapsing trachea. She'll usually go back to sleep after she calms down. Unfortunately I can not fall back to sleep as easily. Which doesn't make sense because I'm always exhausted!
I hope and pray Harlowe's medicine is giving her relief and that you both have a better night. Keeping all of you in my thoughts <3

Awww sweet little Maggie. It's good that the coughing is mostly under control. Sorry to hear that she wakes up so much at night and still keeps you up. I hope that during the day you find time to relax and nap maybe? I know you have very busy days. Sending good thoughts and hugs to you and your little one.

Yes, I had hoped we could always open the thread that way like in years past but unfortunately, "A Christmas To Remember" just can't get to Crabtree that soon anymore.
(And we sure don't want to wait until after Halloween to open it, do we!)

Unfortunate. At least there are always alternatives. Hopefully we can bask in the goodness of "A Christmas To Remember" after Halloween.

Good Morning, MMC~

Merry Pines Day!

We had storms and thunder throughout the night, and Adi took Har in the basement so she could stay relaxed more. I checked on them in the middle of the night, and took Har out. She wanted to go back downstairs when we came in. Hopefully she's been resting well.

I still didn't sleep too well, I am having some sharp pain in my ear and the back of my head. My chiropractor got me in yesterday after work, and I will go back again this week. She got me some immediate relief, but the pain returned a couple hours later. She said there is some swelling in my ear, and my lymph node. It is also causing some dizziness, nausea, and mild vertigo-hopefully she can get it under control quickly.

A trip to the Pines is much needed tonight!

Good morning snowflake22. Did Harlowe sleep some, between the storm and her discomfort? I'm very sorry to hear you are experiencing pain and discomfort yourself. Ear aches that cause diziness are stressful. Do you think you need to consult a doctor, considering the swelling? Hope you find relief soon, take good care of yourself.

Continued well wishes and prayers for Harlowe. Sounds like she is at least resting a little more comfortable. I hope those meds are kicking in.

I had similar symptoms when I had an ear infection. I hope your symptoms improve very soon. Please look after yourself - lots of fluids and take it easy my friend. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

P.S No cocktails for you tonight. Instead chicken soup and herbal tea
