Good morning ~
Merry Saturday!
I was just outside with Maggie, we have some showers passing through. It's supposed to clear up and be sunny with a high of 73 degrees. Not too much going on here today, I have to do some food shopping and then I'll be working on some chores around the house. My parents are coming for dinner. We're going to barbecue but we will most likely eat inside. My husband covered the pool a few days ago. I don't like looking at that pool cover but I think it was time.

Good Saturday Morning MMC! First weekend of Autumn and it already feels like it. What a change and it's going to only get chillier later today/tonight and Sunday. I don't know if I can go out in shorts this weekend. That's kind of sad to me as I've basically warn them nonstop since mid-May. But all good things to come to an end...but the best things are just only beginning as we all know. I have a lot to do this Saturday but I will still have time to fit in some relaxation time!

Morning there NcGunny. For old military people, shorts are in season until the temp drops below 40. Of course all those years being stationed in North Dakota sure helps... lol.

And tomorrow?
Well, what about it? Just another day, right?
Hardly.
Because as of tomorrow, we will have reached the 3/4 Milestone Marker to Christmas Day!
Not only that, but there's rumors floating that tomorrow will be "more than just a Milestone day".
(Hmmm...... I wonder what that could possibly mean??)


Really not too bad here yesterday, weather wise. The sun returned after a several day absence and the temps were not too high.
(The humidity is making a comeback but not to the point of being excessive.)
Currently, our back door thermometer tells us it is 70 degrees here in the capital city of Panther Country.

Hey there Edge. You probably can still get in a few shorts days until the temp finally says... "enough". Was going to mow this morning, but the good Lord decided to hit us with a 30 minute downpour just before I got off work. Oh well, He knows best.

Good evening, friends~
I saw my doctor today, and she confirmed that I have a swollen lymph node in my neck & some nerve issues, because it's pushing right up against one. When it fills with fluid, that's when I have the pain & pressure. She doesn't believe there is an ear or sinus infection, thankfully. She says allergies are probably playing a big role in it. She had me do a bunch of tests, and looked in my ear canal, nose, throat, etc. Recommends a heat compress, allergy meds still & chiropractic if I feel it's helping me. And to let her know if there are any major changes.
Harlowe is having an okay night, she is mentally feeling much better & wants so badly to go for long walks & play, but she's nowhere near ready for that.
She is finally getting ready to rest
Thank you for all the prayers~

Another day at home with JP, he is a lot better than yesterday, but very run down. I am going to work tomorrow come heck or high water.
I have started wearing my Halloween shirts this week, I only have a handful compared to my Christmas shirts. They will get plenty of wears from now until Halloween. This was my shirt today, just an awesome one my wife says is just perfect for me.

I will get caught up tomorrow.

Happy Saturday! I can't believe how much the temps dropped over night! My youngest one woke up not feeling well with a stomachache so hopefully she will feel better. Not too much planned today...I need to catch up on laundry. Hope you all have a great day...only 90 days until Christmas Eve. I love that feeling on that day...so special!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be another hot one here today with a high of 86. There is relief in sight though. It's just a matter of if it will get here on Monday or Wednesday.
