I hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather here in Maryland was just ideal over the weekend. The high for today is only supposed to be in the low 70's. I told Lizzybeth that this week would probably be the last week she can wear her uniform shorts to school.

I am taking the day off on Friday. My church is heading to Lancaster PA for the Sight and Sound production of Samson, we'll have lunch before at an Amish Smorgasbord. It plans to be an wonderful day and all those going are very excited.

Well time to get myself perpendicular and attempt to complete some of my chores for the day. I hope everyone has a memorable day and an enjoyable week. I'll probably be back while I do my weekly MNF radio. Take care.
 
Good Morning .. is it me or did the weekend fly by in a blink of an eye? Guess maybe it felt that way since it was a very busy weekend. We did manage to get all the fall/Halloween decorations down from the attic. The plan is to get the outside fall/Halloween decorations up this week. Kids started decorating their bedrooms for Halloween over the weekend. Will post pictures of the outside once we are done ... Love this time of the year!!!

Our new week numbers:

Days to Christmas Day: 90

And my concern over the close proximinty of our next Milestone (our LAST Season Milestone, I might add) was justified upon checking the chart. It is indeed shockingly close.
But first, just what IS the marker in question?
Well, get a hold of yourself because this will knock your socks off.
Our next Milestone is none other than the NINETY PERCENT/HOME STRETCH point to the Season.
(That's right. We are really that close.)
And it will arrive in just 11 days -- SINGLE DIGITS FROM THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!
(Holy Holiday, Batman!)


Nice day yesterday with cool temps and no rain. A light sprinkle has just started to fall as I type this, however.
Our back door thermometer reads 65 degrees here in central North Carolina.

Lol..I never got sent anywhere I can actually say I appreciated. Summer vacations in Iraq..winter vacations in Afghanistan..winter in Bosnia..lol What about spring in Japan or Italy?...

It feels like summer just shut off suddenly. Still nice enough and warm enough during the day to be mostly comfortable but boy the heat and humidity really just disappeared out of nowhere after being relentless for so long. Ahh well time to enjoy a great Autumn!

Good evening,

The day is coming to an end, it started when we brought the kittens to get their final vaccinations today. I watched an extremely disappointing Bengals game today, they played pretty poorly and the game came down to the last 5 minutes. I was made happy again a few minutes later the Red Sox won their 11th game in a row.
We are in a frost advisory tonight, this cool air is much more my speed.

Back to work in the morning.
