Inventory went well, just glad it is done for another month.
Winding down now, I am finally ready to fall asleep, but the kittens seem to have other ideas. They are crazy at the moment, running around.
Day off tomorrow, sleeping in is in the plans.

Happy to hear that inventory went well. I could never imagine doing one every month. We do it once a year in January and that's more than I can take. Hope the kittens let you get some rest today.

Hope everyone had a good end to their Tuesday and ready for the new day. I made it through the open house at the school and the rest of the evening wasn't too bad. It seems to come in waves. Plodding on though.

Mr Festive came home early yesterday and is off work today with the same symptoms.

Good Wednesday morning! I am working the afternoon/evening shift again. Did not sleep well, I am having extremely weird dreams as of late. I found out yesterday that I will have to work this coming Saturday and I'm not exactly thrilled about it, as I would have had a 3-day weekend. The one good thing about yesterday at work is that we are now in the early planning stages of our Christmas boutiques, so that's always exciting. Hope everyone will have a wonderful day!

I am okay thanks Martine. It seems to come in waves. Very odd. Yesterday I thought it was flu but today I am coping better. Mr is taking it easy and resting. Thank you for the well wishes.

Thank you. Har & I were up a lot of the night, she was restless. I pray it was just that she just wasn't tired. She drank a lot of water, and we went out every two hours or so. She is sleeping peacefully now, and I need to go to work =] Bring on the coffee.
She seems to be feeling better, and was trying to play last night. Against doctor's orders of course, but the more we tried to get her to calm down, the more she took it as a challenge. Ahhh. Hope she didn't aggravate her spine.

And nothing does more to help us enjoy the long trip back to Christmas like our ever-recurrent and always-anticipated Milestone markers.
As such, it is almost with sadness that we take note of the fact that our next Milestone is the VERY LAST one before the commencement of Christmas Season 2016.
(Of course, that very fact carries with it excitement in the extreme, doesn't it!)

Days to the Season: 46
Days to Christmas Day: 88

That final marker?
Well, my Friends, it's just NINE SINGLE DIGITS away and it's the HOME STRETCH point to the Season, meaning, of course, that we will be 90 percent of the way there!!


Almost too cool at times yesterday with cloudy skies most all day and a sprinkle or two. I'm not quite ready for cold weather yet but it's nice to escape the heat and humidity for a while.
We are at 70 degrees here currently and it should be another pretty nice day assuming the rain stays away.


Well, sadly I will not be able to attend tonight's Shispering Pines open house, but I wish you all a happy visit. Have a cool one for me (sweet tea on the rocks, of course.)

Just TEN days from today, we will enter the HOME STRETCH marker to the Season -- the FINAL 10 percent of the voyage!

Really rather coolish here yesterday, with no more rain but with residual dampness.
Currently, we have 69 degrees showing on our thermometer and we may see a return of precipitation later.

I am getting ready to head out for my inventory, I got called in earlier than I was scheduled. It will be a long night, scheduled until 11 now.
So Pines Day will be a welcome day off tomorrow. I heard rumors of something like this for one of the snacks.

So I get home for lunch to realize Gracie had a party this morning! She pulled a pack of candy corn off the counter (I could swear I had them pushed back far enough...) and ate half a bag! So I called the vet to see if that would affect the results of her blood tests (at nearly $500 a pop) & she said we aren't doing blood tests today, only a BP check! Hopefully the sugar hasn't made her more hyper hence higher BP! xx Little booger! Of all days!!!

Little devil....Gracie!! I hope her apt went well and she did not get sick.

Thank you! She seemed fine 'n dandy! I couldn't bribe her in the house this morning with a piece of candy corn though for some reason!

They ended up doing all the tests, blood, urine & BP - I thought from the beginning that was the plan, then they said "no" -then when I got there, they said their records show she was due for the blood work in a couple weeks if I wanted to get it all done yesterday. What the heck! My pet partner App shows her next apt isn't until March. Ah well, anyway - they did it all, now we wait!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! A dreary morning out here. We had a nice afternoon yesterday after a rainy start. I see a lot of clouds in our forecast from mid-week right through the weekend. I hate when it's cloudy for days and days in a row. Anyway, just got a busy day at work ahead and have to drop off a package for work which buys me an extra 45 minutes of lunch break!
