Merry Saturday!

Well, it is hard to believe it is already October!!

Busy times ahead for me at the store ~ I got another booth, half the size of the one I have now and if the current owner of the booth I really want moves, I get that one, too! Yay!!!

As I've said through out the years, it feels as though my inner christmas alarm clock goes off on the 01st of October ! I wake up knowing it is the 01st and can almost hear the sleigh bells. I think of it as the pre season to the season. It's a personal milestone.

It is the start of everything that we love so much about this time of year. The leaves are turning and falling. Pumpkins are arriving. The wind is fragrant with autumn's scent and brooding with a haunting eeriness as Halloween takes centre stage. Slowly Christmas starts casting it's spell.

Wishing each of you a happy October and build up to all the festivities to follow.

I'm probably the last one to say it today, but Happy October!

Gray and chilly today, but that's okay ... it's October, and we can stay in and do cozy things! We have a chicken pie in the oven for a late lunch-early dinner---just right for a day like today.

Hope everyone is having a nice day...unfortunately we are not going to our friend's party my youngest daughter started not feeling well so we decided to skip it. We are just going to stay in and make a fire and get some takeout.
