Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a long, busy weekend. I was up at daylight Saturday morning, working on my part-time business. It was 50°F!! I loved it! Of course, it's not that cool now, but it was a nice taste of things to come. Elizabeth had to be at dance later that morning, then Jacob's band had a gig.

His band played at a Turpentine Festival. They had turpentine distilling demonstrations, live music, crafts vendors, etc. It was a lot of fun!

Yesterday was Homecoming at church, and we had a huge crowd, and enough food for two crowds that size!

Good Morning Festive. It's always a good sign for a nice day when I see your early morning posts. It is October and I am more than ready for it. Especially since yesterday ended on a not-so-fantastic note.
Cars needed repairs, wife had to see a doctor for her eye, daughter had a doctor's appointment which wound up her having to go to the hospital for some tests (waiting for the reply) and with all of that going on, I got very little sleep.
But in all that, I try to keep a positive outlook. There are a ton more people in this world a whole lot worse off than me and even concerning the car repairs... even though I had planned the money in a different direction, at least I had it and did not have to go into debt.
So all in all... I continue to be blessed by God as He supplies all my needs. Have a calm weekend and a fantastic start to October.

A crazy Sunday here, we ended up postponing our apple picking due to the fact 3 family members who were supposed to come ended up coming down with something, sister in law couldn't make it, so 2 weeks we will do it. We ended up going to the mall for a quick run to Old Navy to pick up jeans for LC, unfortunately they were having a BIG sale. We stayed there for 90+ minutes, got some incredible deals for all of us. We got home and my wife realized she put away a few things by accident, so back down to ON we went.
I have one more day off left, plenty to do around the house to keep me busy.
I really have the itch to put up a tree, but my wife would never let me do it this early. Maybe right after Halloween.

Time travels to fast, I'm feeling a bit stressed....
I want it to slow down now!
I seriously feel this like a pain in my gut!

I think October is the finest month of the year
I've been sick for 4-5 weeks, but feeling much better now
So I hope I can enjoy this month!
Didn't see much of September....

Here it's cold today with 32F. Icy roads and fog.
I guess we have to put some winter tire on your car pretty soon

It's going to be cloudy today with a high of 72 degrees. Typical day for me, I have errands and I'll be working on some chores around the house. I'm going to Target later this morning. I think I better start stocking up on Halloween candy, haven't bought any yet. I may stop at the gardening center to pick up mums at well. That's about it for me.

Hope you guys had a good weekend.
The children are celebrating harvest at school this week. I always look forward to this time so much.

The current headline is Britain to face 4 months of snow in Game of Thrones type winter. Pahahahaha Don't worry. They always come up with these predictions right around this time of year.

The weather has plummeted though. Woke up to 30s yesterday ans today Brrr! I know it's not that cold but it takes a while to adjust!!!

Good Monday Morning MMC! Despite working Saturday for 5 hours I actually had a good weekend! But I did feel "off" on Saturday afternoon as I was really tired...but luckily I planned ahead so that I could take it slow on Saturday and get some stuff done around the house. Sunday I did my errands and played with Rollins a lot. He actually slept some which was nice...for both of us. Then curled up against me last night to watch t.v. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys their day and is doing well this Monday.

There is an ominous sign to the south, however.
Hurricane Matthew, a category 4 storm, is predicted to slowly move our way during the course of this week. Hopefully, it will veer away or weaken before it reaches the latitude of our coast. We shall see and keep our fingers (and toes) crossed.
We are at 65 sunny degrees here, currently.

Friend, I have been thinking about a few of you the past couple of days. I'm hoping and praying for the best.

GM MMC....typical work day for me today and my daughter has a soccer game at 4 so we will go to that. I don't think Leo feels too well this morning. He is not his usual crazy self and is laying around a bit more than usual. I gave him a treat and he took it but went right back to bed. I am going to have to keep an eye on him. If he is not better tomorrow I will maybe take him to the vet. Hope you all have a great day!

At 3 a.m. on Sunday, I finally go the kids put to bed and then Doc. Yesterday wasn't as bad, but it wasn't good. Woke up this morning....and it's my turn. Needless to say, we are all home and resting. I sure do want to go outside and work on getting my lights ready, but all in good time. As for now, just going to sit here and read the boards for a few minutes and then pay some bills and do some other chores. Y'all have a good day!

Man, talk about a long weekend. Had a list of things to do...and didn't get a single one done. Got home from getting a few groceries the other night and Bambina kept sitting on the couch saying "no, no, no" over and over. After about 15 minutes, she got so sick. Put her in the tub and clean her up....the other kid walks in and gets sick. This goes on for 5 hours straight every 20 minutes! OH MY GOSH. At 11 p.m., Doc started getting sick. At 3 a.m. on Sunday, I finally go the kids put to bed and then Doc. Yesterday wasn't as bad, but it wasn't good. Woke up this morning....and it's my turn. Needless to say, we are all home and resting. I sure do want to go outside and work on getting my lights ready, but all in good time. As for now, just going to sit here and read the boards for a few minutes and then pay some bills and do some other chores. Y'all have a good day!

Good foggy Monday morning everyone! I've been so busy these last few days that I haven't had the opportunity to come on and see how all of my MMC friends are. I hope that everyone has had a great week & weekend. It has been raining non stop here in Maryland making for several wet and chilly days. Not to mention bad hair days as well!!!

I had Friday off and so Lizzybeth saw a great production of Samson at the Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster PA with our church. It was our first time and we really had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to go back to see another production. After returning from our day trip my ex husband picked the girls up that night for the weekend which meant I got a break! YAY!!! Saturday, my nephew Micah and I went to see the Magnificent Seven. We both really enjoyed it although we'd never seen the original so we had nothing to compare it to but we both said we would see it again. Then we had an early dinner and walked around the mall for a bit. Sunday, I went to church for all am services and the girls came back home in the afternoon so Lizzybeth made it in time for choir rehearsal and evening service. They've already started getting ready for our church's Christmas play and handing out several of the parts. Last year Lizzybeth just sang in the children's choir but this time she was selected to actually have a role with several lines and all. She's trilled and I'm excited for her!!!

It's rainy and foggy here but I absolutely love it. Have a great day and stay blessed.

We will be seeing a lot of the family together this Fall.
It did work good, Har enjoyed the extra time with Adi, and he's had a productive weekend so far, as well.

good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

Wow, October already. In one week it will be Thanksgiving, glad I already have my turkey.
It is a cool wet weekend here, typical fall day.
My neighbourhood has been transformed in one day. So sad that all these beautiful trees have to be cut down because of the emerald ash borer. We have lived here for 20 years and watched these trees grow.

hopefully those are the only ones we have to loose.

Apple's to finish processing today after church so I can get some apple pie filling canned.
