Good morning ~
It's going to be cloudy today with a high of 72 degrees. Typical day for me, I have errands and I'll be working on some chores around the house. I'm going to Target later this morning. I think I better start stocking up on Halloween candy, haven't bought any yet. I may stop at the gardening center to pick up mums at well. That's about it for me.

Hope you guys had a good weekend.
The children are celebrating harvest at school this week. I always look forward to this time so much.

The current headline is Britain to face 4 months of snow in Game of Thrones type winter. Pahahahaha Don't worry. They always come up with these predictions right around this time of year.

The weather has plummeted though. Woke up to 30s yesterday ans today Brrr! I know it's not that cold but it takes a while to adjust!!!

Top O' the Mornin' to ya Festive. Yeah, 30's are not exactly something I look forward to, but I try and tell myself that Spring will be next. Of course here in SD, 30's for a high usually begin in December. Have a great week and enjoy harvest time.

Good Monday morning! Happy to have an extra day off. I already have a load of laundry going, 3 more to go (I procrastinated a bit over the weekend). Nowhere to go today, it's nice to be able to just stay home for once. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Other than that a few chores and then settle down to some MNF on the radio. Unless the family is all home in which case we can do a movie. Have a blessed week.

 

[Festive Spirit]

GM MMC....typical work day for me today and my daughter has a soccer game at 4 so we will go to that. I don't think Leo feels too well this morning. He is not his usual crazy self and is laying around a bit more than usual. I gave him a treat and he took it but went right back to bed. I am going to have to keep an eye on him. If he is not better tomorrow I will maybe take him to the vet. Hope you all have a great day!

I feel like I need to start Christmas shopping right now. I always wait and get stressed out that I don't have enough. It's so hard to get into the holiday spirit when it's SO HOT outside.

I need to make a start with gift ideas as well as shopping. It's not fun waiting till last minute.

Really nicely cool here yesterday, with under control humidity readings and no rain. Pretty decent for early October in these parts.
There is an ominous sign to the south, however.
Hurricane Matthew, a category 4 storm, is predicted to slowly move our way during the course of this week. Hopefully, it will veer away or weaken before it reaches the latitude of our coast. We shall see and keep our fingers (and toes) crossed.
We are at 65 sunny degrees here, currently.

Good Monday Morning MMC! Despite working Saturday for 5 hours I actually had a good weekend! But I did feel "off" on Saturday afternoon as I was really tired...but luckily I planned ahead so that I could take it slow on Saturday and get some stuff done around the house. Sunday I did my errands and played with Rollins a lot. He actually slept some which was nice...for both of us. Then curled up against me last night to watch t.v. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys their day and is doing well this Monday.

Busy is good, mostly. lol Luckily it looks like the 80 degree weather will only be a day or two then back to nice temperatures. We have had great weather for the last week, but I guess summer wants one more go at us.

I was just looking at the forecast. Looks like we have near 80º temps starting tomorrow & until Saturday! I'll take it! Soak up that heat & store it for winter!

short shift at work today, only 5 hours.
consulting on a wedding cake tomorrow afternoon, taking mom to have her cast off tomorrow morning.
They are being very noisy chopping up all my beautiful trees.

Merry Monday Christmasstar. Did you know the trees were coming down? Glad your Mom is doing better and enjoy your short shift. I always love them, they go by so fast.
