I was just looking at the forecast. Looks like we have near 80º temps starting tomorrow & until Saturday! I'll take it! Soak up that heat & store it for winter!

Wow 80? We're supposed to reach maybe low 70s at best this week.

Happy 1st week of October to you MerryCarey. The sun is shining and the trash has been picked up... lol. So far a good Monday.
Hope your week goes exceptionally well as we head into the Halloween season. Here are the residents of Santa's home ready to go out for trick or treat.

A crazy Sunday here, we ended up postponing our apple picking due to the fact 3 family members who were supposed to come ended up coming down with something, sister in law couldn't make it, so 2 weeks we will do it. We ended up going to the mall for a quick run to Old Navy to pick up jeans for LC, unfortunately they were having a BIG sale. We stayed there for 90+ minutes, got some incredible deals for all of us. We got home and my wife realized she put away a few things by accident, so back down to ON we went.
I have one more day off left, plenty to do around the house to keep me busy.
I really have the itch to put up a tree, but my wife would never let me do it this early. Maybe right after Halloween.

The first Monday of October
Time travels to fast, I'm feeling a bit stressed....
I want it to slow down now!
I seriously feel this like a pain in my gut!

I think October is the finest month of the year
I've been sick for 4-5 weeks, but feeling much better now
So I hope I can enjoy this month!
Didn't see much of September....

Here it's cold today with 32F. Icy roads and fog.
I guess we have to put some winter tire on your car pretty soon

I feel like I need to start Christmas shopping right now. I always wait and get stressed out that I don't have enough. It's so hard to get into the holiday spirit when it's SO HOT outside.

Well, you can always head up this a-way. The heat has definitely been turned down up here. Have a great week. I always start early, but that is just so I can relax as Thanksgiving approaches. Enjoy your shopping.

It's going to be cloudy today with a high of 72 degrees. Typical day for me, I have errands and I'll be working on some chores around the house. I'm going to Target later this morning. I think I better start stocking up on Halloween candy, haven't bought any yet. I may stop at the gardening center to pick up mums at well. That's about it for me.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a long, busy weekend. I was up at daylight Saturday morning, working on my part-time business. It was 50°F!! I loved it! Of course, it's not that cool now, but it was a nice taste of things to come. Elizabeth had to be at dance later that morning, then Jacob's band had a gig.

His band played at a Turpentine Festival. They had turpentine distilling demonstrations, live music, crafts vendors, etc. It was a lot of fun!

Yesterday was Homecoming at church, and we had a huge crowd, and enough food for two crowds that size!

Morning Bradmac. Sounds like both a busy and enjoyable weekend. Never heard of a turpentine festival, but hey if it provides good times and good memories... I'm all for it.

Hope you guys had a good weekend.
The children are celebrating harvest at school this week. I always look forward to this time so much.

The current headline is Britain to face 4 months of snow in Game of Thrones type winter. Pahahahaha Don't worry. They always come up with these predictions right around this time of year.

The weather has plummeted though. Woke up to 30s yesterday ans today Brrr! I know it's not that cold but it takes a while to adjust!!!

GM MMC....typical work day for me today and my daughter has a soccer game at 4 so we will go to that. I don't think Leo feels too well this morning. He is not his usual crazy self and is laying around a bit more than usual. I gave him a treat and he took it but went right back to bed. I am going to have to keep an eye on him. If he is not better tomorrow I will maybe take him to the vet. Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning SnowflakeMom. I remember the days when my children were young and it seemed like one event after another. Not that I minded it, but boy the difference when they departed. At first I did not even know what to do with all the time. I pray Leo feels better and you can avoid a trip to the Vet. Have a good day, a better week and a fantastic October.

Good Monday morning! Happy to have an extra day off. I already have a load of laundry going, 3 more to go (I procrastinated a bit over the weekend). Nowhere to go today, it's nice to be able to just stay home for once. Have a wonderful day everyone!
