Good morning Ballcoach. All I can say is wow! I pray you are all doing better and the end of whatever has caught all of you is nearing. Relax and rest up my friend.Man, talk about a long weekend. Had a list of things to do...and didn't get a single one done. Got home from getting a few groceries the other night and Bambina kept sitting on the couch saying "no, no, no" over and over. After about 15 minutes, she got so sick. Put her in the tub and clean her up....the other kid walks in and gets sick. This goes on for 5 hours straight every 20 minutes! OH MY GOSH. At 11 p.m., Doc started getting sick. At 3 a.m. on Sunday, I finally go the kids put to bed and then Doc. Yesterday wasn't as bad, but it wasn't good. Woke up this morning....and it's my turn. Needless to say, we are all home and resting. I sure do want to go outside and work on getting my lights ready, but all in good time. As for now, just going to sit here and read the boards for a few minutes and then pay some bills and do some other chores. Y'all have a good day!
Well put. I trust that indicates a memorable Monday for you Tis. As the season draws nearer, we can look forward to a lot of Merry Mondays...Morning all, it's Monday but it's an October Monday
I hope you all stay safe from Matthew!! xx Have a great day crown!Good Morning, Friends.
Drawing near. Very near.
It's coming into view - into focus.
I can make it out clearly, now!
It's the 90 percent HOME STRETCH Milestone Marker to Christmas Season 2016 and it is just FOUR days ahead. Barely over HALF A WEEK!
Days to the Season: 41
Days to Christmas Day: 83
Really nicely cool here yesterday, with under control humidity readings and no rain. Pretty decent for early October in these parts.
There is an ominous sign to the south, however.
Hurricane Matthew, a category 4 storm, is predicted to slowly move our way during the course of this week. Hopefully, it will veer away or weaken before it reaches the latitude of our coast. We shall see and keep our fingers (and toes) crossed.
We are at 65 sunny degrees here, currently.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!
At least now you are done with working the weekend for a long while!!Good Monday Morning MMC! Despite working Saturday for 5 hours I actually had a good weekend! But I did feel "off" on Saturday afternoon as I was really tired...but luckily I planned ahead so that I could take it slow on Saturday and get some stuff done around the house. Sunday I did my errands and played with Rollins a lot. He actually slept some which was nice...for both of us. Then curled up against me last night to watch t.v. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys their day and is doing well this Monday.
Have a great day!
Very cute....and spooky!Picked these up this morning
3 little christmas houses. Thought they would be nice for the children's room.

They are being very noisy chopping up all my beautiful trees.
Hi LadyBugKisses. Looks like you kept a very busy last few days. Does that mean you actually get to relax this next weekend? I hope Lizzybeth has fun in her pursuit of the Christmas Play and enjoys the memory for years to come. Enjoy the day and the week immensely.Good foggy Monday morning everyone! I've been so busy these last few days that I haven't had the opportunity to come on and see how all of my MMC friends are. I hope that everyone has had a great week & weekend. It has been raining non stop here in Maryland making for several wet and chilly days. Not to mention bad hair days as well!!!
I had Friday off and so Lizzybeth saw a great production of Samson at the Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster PA with our church. It was our first time and we really had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to go back to see another production. After returning from our day trip my ex husband picked the girls up that night for the weekend which meant I got a break! YAY!!! Saturday, my nephew Micah and I went to see the Magnificent Seven. We both really enjoyed it although we'd never seen the original so we had nothing to compare it to but we both said we would see it again. Then we had an early dinner and walked around the mall for a bit. Sunday, I went to church for all am services and the girls came back home in the afternoon so Lizzybeth made it in time for choir rehearsal and evening service. They've already started getting ready for our church's Christmas play and handing out several of the parts. Last year Lizzybeth just sang in the children's choir but this time she was selected to actually have a role with several lines and all. She's trilled and I'm excited for her!!!
It's rainy and foggy here but I absolutely love it. Have a great day and stay blessed.
that is so cute, i must have one too !

Happy October Edge!Happy October Holiday!
Happy October & new week to you!Happy New Week, by the way!
Nice to see you ReineV!I feel like I need to start Christmas shopping right now. I always wait and get stressed out that I don't have enough. It's so hard to get into the holiday spirit when it's SO HOT outside.
Well that's a bummer. I was hoping some would be available over there! Thanks.
Shame the postage and customs cost almost 4 times or more than the product itself!!!!
A busy (and fun) weekend indeed!Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
We had a long, busy weekend. I was up at daylight Saturday morning, working on my part-time business. It was 50°F!! I loved it! Of course, it's not that cool now, but it was a nice taste of things to come. Elizabeth had to be at dance later that morning, then Jacob's band had a gig.
His band played at a Turpentine Festival. They had turpentine distilling demonstrations, live music, crafts vendors, etc. It was a lot of fun!
Yesterday was Homecoming at church, and we had a huge crowd, and enough food for two crowds that size!
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()
Thanks!Happy October Edge!
Awe - praying for Leo!! I hope he feels better as the day goes on. (((HUGS)))GM MMC....typical work day for me today and my daughter has a soccer game at 4 so we will go to that. I don't think Leo feels too well this morning. He is not his usual crazy self and is laying around a bit more than usual. I gave him a treat and he took it but went right back to bed. I am going to have to keep an eye on him. If he is not better tomorrow I will maybe take him to the vet. Hope you all have a great day!
That sounds horrible!! I hope you are all on the mend now & back to 100% very quick!!! Take it easy today & get better!Man, talk about a long weekend.
