Good foggy Monday morning everyone! I've been so busy these last few days that I haven't had the opportunity to come on and see how all of my MMC friends are. I hope that everyone has had a great week & weekend. It has been raining non stop here in Maryland making for several wet and chilly days. Not to mention bad hair days as well!!!

I had Friday off and so Lizzybeth saw a great production of Samson at the Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster PA with our church. It was our first time and we really had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to go back to see another production. After returning from our day trip my ex husband picked the girls up that night for the weekend which meant I got a break! YAY!!! Saturday, my nephew Micah and I went to see the Magnificent Seven. We both really enjoyed it although we'd never seen the original so we had nothing to compare it to but we both said we would see it again. Then we had an early dinner and walked around the mall for a bit. Sunday, I went to church for all am services and the girls came back home in the afternoon so Lizzybeth made it in time for choir rehearsal and evening service. They've already started getting ready for our church's Christmas play and handing out several of the parts. Last year Lizzybeth just sang in the children's choir but this time she was selected to actually have a role with several lines and all. She's trilled and I'm excited for her!!!

It's rainy and foggy here but I absolutely love it. Have a great day and stay blessed.

Greeting to one and all. The first full week of October has arrived in all of it's colorful splendor. Not a ton planned for today. The family is doing well and I have a few chores around the house to attend to. I do have one vital thing to accomplish however, a Culver's coupon for buy one basket meal and get one free expires today...
I will also help my better half change the water in one of her fish tanks.
I trust everyone is doing well, inthe best of health and spirits and looking forward to what the remainder of the year has to offer. Have a magical season.

Mine is run on batteries & the 1st date you can use it is Oct. 1st, so I was a little behind on getting it out. OOPS!

Lol!! By the time I got to boss Jarheads around KP was mainly washing dishes and mopping. Everything was mainly civilian run. I was so glad to finally get out of Duty Officer work and it only took 12 years..out of 23.

We usually order pizza on Halloween but I think this year I want to do something different. Thinking about slider sandwiches. Really nicely cool here yesterday, with under control humidity readings and no rain. Pretty decent for early October in these parts.
There is an ominous sign to the south, however.
Hurricane Matthew, a category 4 storm, is predicted to slowly move our way during the course of this week. Hopefully, it will veer away or weaken before it reaches the latitude of our coast. We shall see and keep our fingers (and toes) crossed.
We are at 65 sunny degrees here, currently.

I am the same, do not like anything about horror shows or movies



I just spent yesterday afternoon making apple pie filling and canning it. Love going out to pick apples and then process them. I think it tastes so much better when opened later when the snow is blowing !

I love when fall settles in, the smell is so different in the air. Love getting the harvest stored away to enjoy when the snow comes.
