Christmas Countdown - 2016

Merry Thursday,

We had fun at the craft afternoon and my youngest enjoyed performing his harvest songs.

My eldest is off sick today. I have to take him to the Dr. after I drop off my youngest to school. He barely slept last night.

I have to dash. Have a great day everyone.

Good Thursday morning! Why was I up at 4:30am when I have the day off? Oh I know: tons of thoughts and ideas running through my head and my allergies were acting up earlier, that's why I couldn't sleep anymore. My day will be pretty busy between chores, some grocery shopping and preparing a poster and box to collect donations at work to help a local organization give a Christmas to kids who are victims of poverty. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to buy gifts for those children. We'll be doing a half-and-half raffle and a pot luck lunch to start with and we'll try and find other ways to raise money. I need to find an elf hat or Santa hat and a huge gift box for when we present the initiative to our employees at work, to make it more fun. So a busy day ahead. Hope everyone will have a great day!

Harlowe & I had a nice evening last night-although she hasn't been eating much since Adi went away on business. Stinker. What dog doesn't want ground turkey cooked in turkey stock? Poor sweetie must really miss him. Otherwise, she's doing pretty well right now.
I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow! And spending the day home with her. Trying to decide what to bake.
It's a cool morning in the low 40s, so refreshing!

Morning Snowflake! You've said Harlowe isn't driven by food. Was she the same when you first got her? Just curious because as I've said Rollins is the same way...he'll bark like he wants to eat then he goes and eats a little food then leaves the rest and wants to go play. Have a good day.

Don't worry, you'll subconsciously be extra careful from now on. I've never had another accident with one. Now knives on the other hand.....

I have issues with super glue and white out. I seriously shouldn't be trusted using either one for my own safety and the safety of the table I'm using it on.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! A little early start for me today as Rollins decided that it would be better if I woke up a half hour early today. Who am I to argue with the boss? Anyway, I like being ahead of schedule anyway...and at least it's not Saturday or Sunday (those are his favorite days to wake up early for some reason lol). Was a very busy day yesterday at work and today should be about the same. Look forward to when my co-worker gets back from Jury Duty. In the mean time busy is good!

Harlowe has never been too jazzed about food. Sometimes she's interested, and sometimes not.
She has been much better about it this year, thankfully, because she has various medications to be administered-although she has bouts on and off where she is picky. Right now, I think it is because Adi is traveling. He can almost always get her to eat
Hopefully, for Rollins, it's just a stage because he is a puppy & so interested in everything else, and playful!

That makes sense. As long as Rollins eats enough to be healthy I'm ok with him not being obsessed with food. It will probably keep him more trim...I used to tell Nitro to eat less but he never listened to me lol.

I try not to get too stressed out when she doesn't eat, because from time to time she'll do that and then within a day or so get really hungry and eat a much more To catch up. Silly girl.

Well, the latest hurricane track pedictions show the storm turning sharply out to sea before it reaches our latitude, which is certainly good news for us. (Unless it loops back, as some of the models have predicted!)
Things aren't looking so good for east Florida, however. Our thoughts are with them.
This morning has commenced cool and dry at 61 degrees here in the capital city.

We're lucky that Loki stays in bed quiet until we get up. Or I should say until David gets up. He'll stay with him when I wake up...unless I have food, then he'll come with me. Hope your busy day at work flies by. Have a great day!

These days Loki eats very regularly, but there are times during the year where he won't eat in the morning or at night. He'll only eat when he's hungry I guess.
