Good Morning, MMC!!! Nothing to much going on here today. Just a lot of cleaning and making out a grocery list. I hope everyone has a Great Day!!

Bradmac- Stay safe in the hurricane!!!
Good Morning, buddy~
Hope you can get caught up on cleaning today!
What's on the grocery list? Any fall goodies?
Have a wonderful day!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!!! I hope everyone's day is off to a good start.

We had a nice time on the patio with the neighbors last night....until the rain moved in. What the heck?! There was no rain in the forecast. But we moved inside the garage & all was good! :) Had to watch Gracie really close so she didn't eat anything she wasn't supposed too... she sure tried!! Little booger! ;)

Have a great day gang!

Happy Friday Eve, Holiday!
Glad you had fun with your neighbors!!
Hugs to you & Gracie~bless her heart for trying to nab some treats last night ;) lol
Praying for good test results.
Have a fantastic day!
xx

Have you seen the previews for "The Girl On the Train" I watched the trailer - it looks suspenseful, but doesn't tell much about the movie. I'll have to read what the book is about I guess! ;)
We are going to see "Sully" tonight. It's the last night for it at our theater - Girl On The Train starts tomorrow.
Yes! That's one we want to go see.
Love Emily Blunt. Looks packed full of suspense!
Adi read the book, said it was excellent.

Have fun at Sully! I've heard great things about it.

I'm so sorry that the test results were not what you had hoped for. If I may ask, what is Gracie's illness exactly? It's good that you were able to schedule the follow-up tests this quickly. I am sending you good thoughts and hugs.
Thank you for the good thoughts & hugs!
The vet thinks she has a protein losing disease PLE &/or PLN. There is an expensive test that can be done in Pennsylvania & down south somewhere (I think) - there are only 2 places in the US that test for it. Anyway - regardless if she has it or not, the treatment is the same as what they are doing for her now to keep her kidneys functioning properly, so we have not had the test done. We have some doubts that she actually has that disease - after she became sick was after last years VERY rainy summer when she was constantly in the water/mud at the lake & shortly after the lake warnings came out of high toxin levels & danger for dogs. SO we still feel she got into something at the lake. Also, this is a hereditary disease & our breeder swears none of his dogs or puppies have ever had this. We also know other people who have Wheaten's from this breeder with no problems what so ever. And other thing, dogs are normally not diagnosed with this disease until they are 4-6 years old - Gracie was only 1 1/2. So we'll see how this plays out. Praying for the best! :)

Good morning ~
Merry Thursday!
I'm just having my coffee and watching the news. This hurricane is so scary, praying hard for everyone that is in the path of the storm. My BIL and his family live in Melbourne Florida, as of last night they were on the fence about evacuating. I hope they decide to leave, better safe than sorry.
Typical day of errands and chores for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day <3

Merry Thursday!!
Keeping everyone in the path of the hurricane in my thoughts and prayers~extra prayers for your BIL & his family.
Hope you have a beautiful day!

Merry Thursday,

We had fun at the craft afternoon and my youngest enjoyed performing his harvest songs.

My eldest is off sick today. I have to take him to the Dr. after I drop off my youngest to school. He barely slept last night.

I have to dash. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Festive. Things have certainly been keeping you busy for one reason or another. I will add your eldest to my prayers for a speedy recovery. I hope the rest of your day goes well.

Good Thursday morning! Why was I up at 4:30am when I have the day off? Oh I know: tons of thoughts and ideas running through my head and my allergies were acting up earlier, that's why I couldn't sleep anymore. My day will be pretty busy between chores, some grocery shopping and preparing a poster and box to collect donations at work to help a local organization give a Christmas to kids who are victims of poverty. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to buy gifts for those children. We'll be doing a half-and-half raffle and a pot luck lunch to start with and we'll try and find other ways to raise money. I need to find an elf hat or Santa hat and a huge gift box for when we present the initiative to our employees at work, to make it more fun. So a busy day ahead. Hope everyone will have a great day!
Good morning Martine. Guess what? I was up at that time too. Of course I was at work. My day will be spent catching up on some much needed rest. Things always pick up with holiday items arriving by the pallet load.
I love what you are doing for others. I usually start gathering right after Christmas and also for some of the people I know at work who might have "not as merry" a Christmas. My wife and I pick out a few and make up stockings that we hand out, letting them know that a jolly fellow in a red suit asked if we could help him deliver a few items early, due to the busy time he is involved in. I'd enjoy it even more if they did not know who it came from, but so far, I have not figured out a way.
Have a fun day and take some time to catch a break or you might end up looking like this... lol

Good morning, MMC~
Happy Friday Eve!
Harlowe & I had a nice evening last night-although she hasn't been eating much since Adi went away on business. Stinker. What dog doesn't want ground turkey cooked in turkey stock? ;) Poor sweetie must really miss him. Otherwise, she's doing pretty well right now.
I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow! And spending the day home with her. Trying to decide what to bake.
It's a cool morning in the low 40s, so refreshing!
It's time for more coffee ☕
Wishing you a cozy & magical Autumn day~

Happy Thursday to you Snowflake. I'm pleased Harlowe is doing so much better. Both mine love human food, but they have to see me eat some first.
Enjoy sleeping in. With the schedule you seem to keep (by reading your posts here and other areas), I'd say it is well deserved. Enjoy your coffee and here is a magical wish just for you...

What an awesome thing to do for the kids - and it sounds like you will have fun with it too!! :)
Enjoy your day off!!

I really hope that everyone in the path of hurricane Matthew is safe. Sending positive thoughts to everyone who could be affected and thinking of Haiti in particular.
Agreed, praying for all!!
Our previous neighbors at the lake moved to Daytona Beach last year. He posted a picture on FB of their vehicles all packed up, their house is closed up as good as possible, & they are heading to the in-laws in Alabama. How scary!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! A little early start for me today as Rollins decided that it would be better if I woke up a half hour early today. Who am I to argue with the boss? Anyway, I like being ahead of schedule anyway...and at least it's not Saturday or Sunday (those are his favorite days to wake up early for some reason lol). Was a very busy day yesterday at work and today should be about the same. Look forward to when my co-worker gets back from Jury Duty. In the mean time busy is good!
Have a great day!
Greetings Edge. Well, busy certainly leaves little time to get into mischief... ;)
I also love and early start to my day. Sometimes it is one of my furry companions, but mostly I think due to 23+ years of military conditioning. Have fun and get ready for some football...

AWE! Hugs to sweet Har!! Jim had to work pre-load this morning so he left for work at 4am & wasn't there this morning. Gracie was bummed w/o her papa in the morning!
I'm glad you 2 had a good night though! Hopefully she will get hungry enough & eat soon. I can tell you Gracie would have gobbled down your turkey & broth. LOL!
I can tell you are looking forward to your day off tomorrow. Sounds so cozy! Coffee & baking on a cool morning.... Har will be happy to have her mama home! :)
Hope you have a cozy & magical autumn day too! (thought it doesn't feel like autumn here - we had a low of 60 overnight & a high of 82 today) LOVE IT! :D

Good Morning, Everyone.

Tomorrow.
Yes, tomorrow.
That's when it comes.
<< When what comes, Crown? >>
Why, the 90 percent Home Stretch Milestone to Christmas Season 2016, of course.
<< How did we get so far so fast, Crown? >>
These things just happen, little voice. Bit by bit and step by step. The future becomes the present and the present becomes the past so quickly.
(It's not like we haven't given you daily warnings, you know.)
<< Well......that is true. >>

Days to the Season: 38
Days to Christmas Day: 80

Well, the latest hurricane track pedictions show the storm turning sharply out to sea before it reaches our latitude, which is certainly good news for us. (Unless it loops back, as some of the models have predicted!)
Things aren't looking so good for east Florida, however. Our thoughts are with them.
This morning has commenced cool and dry at 61 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday, Folks.
And revel in the fact that Weekend Eve will arrive tomorrow, right on schedule!
Thanks crown!! Stay safe!!!

Morning Crown. I'll keep the prayers going for those who have been under Matthew's path and for others to avoid it. Cool here too with a crisp 45 degrees currently. Have an enjoyable day and thanks as always for the updates.
