My weekend has been uneventful so far. David has come down with something, fighting off a fever so we're staying in. Loki is as cute as ever. Hope you're having a great weekend eith your cousin. Did you wind up doing the corn maze and all those activities planned yesterday?

Here too temperatures will go up for the next few days. I don't know how to dress anymore, I was putting away my Summer clothes but the weather thinks otherwise. Enjoy your time with your in-laws.

Hopefully work will go by really fast so you can relax for the rest of the day. I too am really looking forward to my 3-day weekend right before Halloween. Same weather here but I can't just stay in, I have to run errands that we didn't get to yesterday when David started feeling ill. Have a great day Festive.
 
Good Sunday morning! Weekends go by way too fast. David is still not 100%, he has a low fever this morning. His body is fighting off something, just don't know what. I'll be finishing up our errands by myself and then I have laundry and some cleaning up to do. Everyone have a great Sunday!

I hear you about weekends going too fast...that's why I take as many 3 day weekends as possible during the year instead of taking long vacations.
 
Good Sunday Morning MMC! Happy Mid-October day. I got a lot done Saturday so now I'm hoping today I have more time to relax but I have some cleaning to do today. With Rollins around the place is a little messy (putting it nicely). I'm just gonna enjoy today and watch some football as well. My team doesn't play so it makes it easier to just keep an eye on the games while doing other things. Oh I got exciting news yesterday. I remember telling you guys last year when my brother in CA text me to tell me when he was coming for Christmas. Well he told me yesterday his flight is set to arrive 5:30 AM on Saturday, December 17th! Unreal it sounds so far away but it's so exciting when he tells me every year. Looks like I have to get up around 4AM to pick him up but a week before Christmas Eve I don't think sleep will be my biggest priority!

Let's check in on today's figures:
Days to Halloween: 15 (Two weeks from tomorrow!)
Days to the Season: 28 (Four weeks from TODAY!)
Days to Christmas Day: 70 (Ten weeks from today!)
(That first number is getting dangerously close to SINGLE DIGITS, Guys!)

Well, after seeing boxes of Christmas decorations at Crabtree Valley Mall last Tuesday, I expected trimming would be in progress by yesterday when I was out there, but there has been no activity. Surely by next weekend, though, the mall will be fully decked out (with lots of Blossoms thread photo opportunities!)


A bit cooler yesterday but still pretty nice for October. Lots of sun and and it was dry.
Today should be another nice one with no precipitation predicted until late next week, and even then the chances are low.
Currently, we perceive 55 degrees here on our back door temperature recorder.

Happy Sunday! Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. I am taking my oldest shopping for shoes for her homecoming dance next weekend. Hope you all have a great day. I can't believe it is Sunday already!
