Time is moving quickly and I can't wait for more of it. Hard to believe so many Christmas sales already, but I suppose if you want your piece of the pie, you better dig in. Of course it does tend to make one think whether they raised up their prices so a sale looked good. Oh well, I'm not going to get cynical over Christmas. Have a fun Monday off.

Today's numbers:
Days to Halloween: 14 (Two weeks from today!)
Days to the Season: 27 (UNDER Four weeks remain!)
Days to Christmas Day: 69 (UNDER Ten weeks left!)
Like sand through the hourglass, the days slip away at a steady rate.
(But unlike the days of our lives, on January 1 of each year, we get to tip the glass over and start afresh!)


Another really nice day here yesterday, still with low humidity, no rain and moderate temperatures.
Should start to get noticeably warmer over the course of this week, though.
This new week morning has commenced clear, at 61 degrees here in our territory of the great MMC Nation.

(And I for one, hope it's better than Sunday was, when BOTH the Panthers and the Packers lost!)

Merry Monday O' Christmas Collaborating Connoisseur Crown. Keep that update a-comin' and yes the losses were hard, but I have never counted out Drew, even when the Saints did not start off too well. 56 here with an expected high in the 70's. Lots to do, with some rest in between.

Morning-surprise-
Hope you managed to catch up on both.
On Friday and Saturday night we all went to bed 930 and 9 !! Unusual for the weekend !! Can't remember last time we went to bed that early!! We must have needed the rest.

Enjoying a day off here too. Catching up with garden work and house work before I pick up my kids. Enjoy your day off. What are your plans?

We had a lot of fun with my cousin and her boyfriend this weekend. Time with family is always a cherished.
Harlowe was doing pretty well, but she got sick this morning. Hope that with some rest and plenty of water, she feels better today.
We travel for her specialist/Cardiologist appointment later this week.

A Merry Monday Morning to you Snowflake. Now that we are done chasing each other in What we are listening to, I'm so glad your weekend went well and sorry to hear that Harlowe is having problems. I'll be sure to add his well being (along with you and yours) to my morning prayers. Busy but good day today. It is my daughter Amber's birthday. She and Connie are going to Iowa (yes people do actually go there) to pick up a "mate" for one of her many songbirds. While they are gone I will clean up and decorate the living room area in "Hollywood Premiere" night fashion for her and the feature presentation of the King & I. Believe it or not, she has never seen it. That along with dropping off a 4' Sully to the Children's hospital and a few "silk" trees to the zoo should keep me busy. At least it gives me an excuse to stop by Red Robin when I'm in that section of town.

Last night's trip to Six Flags was a disaster, it was extremely busy and LC had a panic attack due to all the people dressed in character. I think we were there for 15-20 minutes, no rides, no food. We ended up going to Chili's for dinner, that made LC very happy.
Bengals lost today, tomorrow won't be fun at work with all the Pats fans there. Oh well.

We will go for some autumn walks along the nature trail and the parks, some hallloween baking and of course lots of halloween viewing. Mayeb a trip to one of the farms for scarecrow building and hayride.

I also plan on having an indoor camp fire night with them. I'll set up their tent in the living room, put up fairy lights and jack o lanterns, make some smores, hot dogs and read ghost stories.

Good Monday Morning MMC! It's a vacation day for me so Rollins and I are hanging out this morning while I get some stuff done around the house. I'm going to IHOP with my brother and mom later this morning. Should be fun. We always like to go there every couple of months. Hard to believe 2 weeks from today is Halloween guys. I feel like this time of year we just go from one thing to the next and each thing gets bigger and better. It's such a great feeling. Trying to take it all in day by day and make time to do the fun things that we love to do this time of year.

Decorating for my daughter's birthday and finishing up Halloween outside. Raking up more than a few leaves, delivering a 4 foot plush Sully to the children's hospital, taking some silk trees to the zoo and maybe stopping off at Red Robin for a gourmet burger. Then I will wait for the call from my wife saying she and my daughter are on their way back from Iowa and I will either pick up dinner or prepare it. Depending on what the birthday girl wants. Beyond that, not much...

Enjoy the meal and take stock in the time you can spend warm and cozy inside. It has to beat the bivouacs from the day.

Thank you, I'll relay your birthday wishes. It may be long, but like the mom I am posting to, some days it is more a labor of love than a chore.
