my sons birthday today, my baby is 29 now !
Going to see the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe at the theatre this afternoon.

Getting some work done around the house right now. Roasting a pumpkin to put in freezer for cooking and baking with later.
Have to finish getting the goody bags together for our TOPS rally this weekend. They made me the MC for the day so it will not be very relaxing, but still lots of fun !

Hi everyone! Hope everyone had a fun Halloween. We had an absolute blast. The girls were so dang adorable. Their Mom was cute, too. She didn't dress up, but still!

Happy November!!!! Can you believe it? I have thought about Christmas all day! I've got to start gathering stuff for Elf on the Shelf. Anyone else ever done that? Tips? We are going to put up our tree on Saturday. It is almost too much to handle. As a celebration, we are going to watch Christmas Vacation tonight when the girls go to sleep.

Why can't we be this happy all year?

Such an exciting time of the year!!! Have fun with your Elf On The Shelf - I have a friend who always had the orneriest elf! But their kids (only 1 still believed) were older. I'm not sure that your little ones would "get" the orneriness of the things their elf did! LOL!

I'm counting it! I believe I have witnessed my first Christmas commercial of 2016! I have already seen it twice, and I haven't seen anything else Christmas themed yet. Anyway, it was the Duracell commercial that has plenty of Star Wars in it. Kids are playing Star Wars with R2D2, who uses Duracell batteries, in what looks like a hospital. The hospital is decorated for Christmas. Although I would like it to be more Christmas, I would consider this as a Christmas commercial.

Awesome! Hope you start seeing more commercials soon!

A tad cool and cloudy here yesterday and we struggled to reach 60 degrees. It just did not get as warm as was predicted.
Now today, it is supposed to climb into the upper 70's, with the 80 degree mark to be surpassed tomorrow.
Then? Back to more seasonal temps.
We see 54 degrees on our back door thermometer right now, but it's calm and clear.

I hope everyone had a good day!!! It's been a long one here. Mom had a doctor's appointment and then we had some errands to run. I also stopped by to see Ella for awhile and boy was she wild and crazy today. It felt like September too with a high of 80 degree's. Now I think I'm going to kick back and enjoy some of that candy I may have stoked up on today. Enjoy the rest of your evening's.

Happy Wednesday everyone. Hope you are all well. A friend came over last night as I was getting ready for bed and we wound up staying up past midnight. 5:30AM came too fast. Even Rollins was tired this morning. He was up half the night playing. I'm trying to avoid any candy or cookies today. Too much the last couple of days...but Halloween candy maybe saved for the weekend. 70 degrees and sunshine in November? I'll take it.

Thank you for asking Martine, we ended up finding out that Maggie has an enlarged heart. She's scheduled to have an echocardiogram on Monday. The poor thing can't catch a break. I will let you know what the radiologist says when I get the results.

Awe - prayers for sweet Maggie!! Sending thoughts, hugs & prayers your way!! I hope it's very treatable!! Keep us posted.

Good evening, and Happy November!

It was a day of getting my team on the same page today, this year it is going to be a true sprint to Thanksgiving. We are 22 days away, which means I have about 18 days to sell what is so far about 1,200 turkeys with more yet to come. (18 days is what I figure what we should sell before thaw time is figured) Thanksgiving being just a few days earlier really puts the stress on.
I have been trying to multi-task with reading MMC and setting up my playlists for Christmas music, but the music is winning the majority of my time. I am beat tonight, which will be the theme for the month.

Sounds like a beautiful scene over there right now!! Yesterday we hit 80º & today there is a high of 77º predicted. I took Mom & Emma to the spiritual center woods for a walk after work yesterday - it was just beautiful!!! Mom is not crazy about being put in a wheel chair, but it was too much walking for her & she really enjoyed it!

Of course Miss Grace has to be the "center of attention" Ha ha!!

Good morning MMC members. First day back to work after four off has not been too bad. Just trying to get the momentum going again. Time right now for lunch at home of Hot Dogs and Chili Cheese Fries. Those small microwave fries are great and I do not usually care for microwaved chow. The Music Choice Sounds of the Season changed over to Christmas Music as of Midnight and will stay that way now until the first week of January. I always use the DVR for two or three 90 minute sessions that I will keep until next year. Not much else going on at the moment.
May try to get through a few more totes in the morning after my wife heads to work and opens up the garage. I hope everyone's 1st day of November went well. Take care and enjoy "Wonderful Wednesday"...

Good morning
Cold morning here with 28F, BUT the sun is shining!
Dinner last night went great, such wonderful people
We served our American extended family Moose Steak
And they had never tasted it before. (and we never made it before)
It was so good...
(American extended family=They had my steph son as an exhange student a few years back)
They also brought gifts for all of us and I got this beautiful snowglobe
with a Cardinal inside (they're states bird) I just love it

And the boys are now dressed up with PANTHERS knit hats and tshirts
Im so proud of my kids speaking English for hours
They LOVE them too, and are exiting about visiting them in the US

Today I have to pack..
Im going to Edinburgh, Scotland early in the morning
