Closing in quickly now on the REAL home stretch to the Season, the SINGLE DIGIT point!
Also exciting, we are closing in on the start of our eagerly awaited and much coveted Special Post Series. (More on that in a moment.)

First, the daily data.
(And we are adding the Thanksgiving Day count figure at this point.)
Days to the Season: 11 (SINGLE DIGITS THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 22 (Three weeks from tomorrow!)
Days to Christmas Day: 53 (Barely over 7 1/2 weeks left!)
(Wow, Guys. Just......WOW!)

Here is the schedule:
November 8 (Day 5 before the Season) = Christmasstar
November 9 (Day 4 before the Season) = Binger
November 10 (Day 3 before the Season) = McGunny
November 11 (Day 2 before the Season) = DYHWI Hear
November 12 (Day 1 before the Season) = Brent

And as you can see, the series begins in just 6 short days.

A tad cool and cloudy here yesterday and we struggled to reach 60 degrees. It just did not get as warm as was predicted.
Now today, it is supposed to climb into the upper 70's, with the 80 degree mark to be surpassed tomorrow.
Then? Back to more seasonal temps.
We see 54 degrees on our back door thermometer right now, but it's calm and clear.

Sounds like a beautiful scene over there right now!! Yesterday we hit 80º & today there is a high of 77º predicted. I took Mom & Emma to the spiritual center woods for a walk after work yesterday - it was just beautiful!!! Mom is not crazy about being put in a wheel chair, but it was too much walking for her & she really enjoyed it!

Of course Miss Grace has to be the "center of attention" Ha ha!!

We had unusual burst of warmth on Halloween. But after mid night a cold front swept in and it is cold now!!!

Funny enough Mr F just texted me a couple photos of fallen leaves. I'll post in a second.

Oh no has Gracie been unwell? Praying that she feels better soon and eats for you. Thinking of you guys.

Thanks! Gracie is being treated for a kidney infection. She has to take antibiotics twice a day (morning & night) and a probiotic at lunch. Problem is she's supposed to eat each time she takes a pill. It's hard to get her to eat on demand 3 times a day, but she's been doing pretty well with the help of canned dog food. She went in yesterday b/c she's been on antibiotics for 3 weeks, so they wanted to re-test her. Hopefully all is good! She's crazy as ever!

Happy Wednesday everyone. Hope you are all well. A friend came over last night as I was getting ready for bed and we wound up staying up past midnight. 5:30AM came too fast. Even Rollins was tired this morning. He was up half the night playing. I'm trying to avoid any candy or cookies today. Too much the last couple of days...but Halloween candy maybe saved for the weekend. 70 degrees and sunshine in November? I'll take it.

Good evening, and Happy November!

It was a day of getting my team on the same page today, this year it is going to be a true sprint to Thanksgiving. We are 22 days away, which means I have about 18 days to sell what is so far about 1,200 turkeys with more yet to come. (18 days is what I figure what we should sell before thaw time is figured) Thanksgiving being just a few days earlier really puts the stress on.
I have been trying to multi-task with reading MMC and setting up my playlists for Christmas music, but the music is winning the majority of my time. I am beat tonight, which will be the theme for the month.

I hope your playlists come together soon. I synced up my Christmas music library yesterday evening, and queued up a couple albums. I really enjoyed listening to the music on the way to work today. I also have a few Christmas CDs and a thumb drive full of Christmas OTR in my car!

Our friend at the lake over the weekend made the comment that you can't sneak up on anybody. You can always hear someone coming, crunching through the leaves! Love that sound! (and smell)

Love it! Everything is getting so exciting! Enjoy the music! My sister has always said Nov. 1st is when it's "legal" to listen to Christmas music! So last evening - Nov 1st - I was in the convertible, top down - Christmas music in the cd player, driving around looking at all the fall leaves! What a combo! See you tonight!

Good morning
Cold morning here with 28F, BUT the sun is shining!
Dinner last night went great, such wonderful people
We served our American extended family Moose Steak
And they had never tasted it before. (and we never made it before)
It was so good...
(American extended family=They had my steph son as an exhange student a few years back)
They also brought gifts for all of us and I got this beautiful snowglobe
with a Cardinal inside (they're states bird) I just love it

And the boys are now dressed up with PANTHERS knit hats and tshirts
Im so proud of my kids speaking English for hours
They LOVE them too, and are exiting about visiting them in the US

Today I have to pack..
Im going to Edinburgh, Scotland early in the morning

my sons birthday today, my baby is 29 now !
Going to see the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe at the theatre this afternoon.

Getting some work done around the house right now. Roasting a pumpkin to put in freezer for cooking and baking with later.
Have to finish getting the goody bags together for our TOPS rally this weekend. They made me the MC for the day so it will not be very relaxing, but still lots of fun !

I woke this morning wanting to listen too. I am trying to hold out till Friday when the city switches on the Christmas lights to open the Christmas season here. I am so excited!!!

Morning Merry. One or the Music Choice stations on the tube changed over to Christmas Music as of Midnight and so it is set in my office. Temps for us will like wise be in the 60's, but that's okay. I don't want the ground to freeze until the yard decorations are set.
