Well, a respite from the cold and wet weather was quite welcomed yesterday.
Today should be a tad cooler with rain more likely, but still not bad.
We have commenced this second day of the week at 42 cloudy degrees here in the capital city.

Morning NMC. I will be finishing the wrapping for gifts that need to go Bye-Bye. I pray things go well for your Grandma. I can sympathize though, I never enjoy going to the medical facilities. Not so much that I will hear bad news, but more of the "I am not sure... that will be $50". I can say that without a degree and would only charge $10...
But her health, especially at 90, is a top priority to be sure.

We had such a mild start and full fall, I can't complain. Perfect time for nesting. Looking forward to a White Christmas!
I am still trying to tie up a few odds & ends with Christmas shopping.
And then I need to start wrapping!
I think Harlowe can smell some of her gifts

Good Tuesday morning! Another afternoon/evening shift for me. My brother and dad will be coming over next Tuesday to celebrate Christmas, so I have to figure out what I'm going to serve. Thankfully I have Friday off so I'll be able to get all I need then. Hope everyone will have a great day!

Greetings Martine. Already got my Christmas dinner "request" from my better half. So this year's menu will be Brisket, twice-baked potatoes, steamed broccoli with cheese, warm dinner rolls and hot fudge Sundays for dessert.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

Nothing much happened yesterday afternoon. I went home about 5:30 and fell asleep on the couch for a half hour. That never happens to me! I got up and went to Bernie's store to get a veggie pizza for supper, then I was back asleep. I must be getting old.

Nancy left the house a 5:30 this morning to keep our niece's youngest son while she took her oldest to a medical appointment. I now know that Nancy CAN wake up in the mornings, with the proper motivation.

Good evening Bradmac. Sometimes it seems like you can't get enough sleep. In my case I'm certain age at least plays a part in it. I think it was Milton Berle who once said "you know you are getting old when you look forward to the bedroom as a place to sleep".

Well it looks like we are getting our first real snowfall of the season has started. They are saying 1 to 3 inches by noon and its defintely adding up quickly. Then bitter cold moving in but not as cold as Snowflake thankfully.

Evening Made. Here we are looking forward to a possible addition to out snowfall on Thursday or Friday. Hope it does not get too deep. makes it hard to see some of the yard display... lol

The "Scrooge" movie show really got me into the spirit last night. A marvelous movie (the audience was enthralled...didn't hear a peep from them until they laughed at the reformed Scrooge dancing around yelling "Whoop! Halloo!"), then driving home listening to Christmas music and seeing the Christmas lights along the way. Had to have a cup of cocoa before bed! Looking forward to the weekend so I can indulge in more Christmas!

Good evening Merry. I was watching Scrooged this AM while wrapping presents. Something about Christmas sounds while doing Christmas work just seems to go together. Cocoa sounds good, maybe I'll take a cup with me to work this evening.

Evening Classic. Yes or the Dakotas. Luckily SD is a little bit milder than ND. Not sure of our expected addition this coming few days, but any extra with no relief is always a tough pill to swallow. Ground here for the next few days will not get above 20 and chills into the negative. Time for blankets, coffee and cocoa. No wait, I have to work or well there is always tomorrow morning.

Morning! Hope everyone is having a good week so far...the week before Christmas indeed. I told Rollins last night if he's not good Santa won't come. He looked interested in what I was saying. Wrapped some more gifts last night and watched Home Alone 2. Definitely going to get some more Christmas shows in this evening. Hope everyone is getting ready for the big days coming!!!

Good morning everyone. Well, I am home from work today. Henry is still sick and my wife is not able to stay home today. If he is still sick tomorrow, my wife will stay and I will go to work. But, today it will just be me and my Christmas buddy! My oldest son, Nathan, is about to head to school and then Henry and I will spend the day lounging around watching Christmas movies, coloring Christmas pictures, playing board games, and taking naps! So we will make the best of the sick day!
