Morning! Hope everyone is having a good week so far...the week before Christmas indeed. I told Rollins last night if he's not good Santa won't come. He looked interested in what I was saying. Wrapped some more gifts last night and watched Home Alone 2. Definitely going to get some more Christmas shows in this evening. Hope everyone is getting ready for the big days coming!!!

Good morning everyone. Well, I am home from work today. Henry is still sick and my wife is not able to stay home today. If he is still sick tomorrow, my wife will stay and I will go to work. But, today it will just be me and my Christmas buddy! My oldest son, Nathan, is about to head to school and then Henry and I will spend the day lounging around watching Christmas movies, coloring Christmas pictures, playing board games, and taking naps! So we will make the best of the sick day!

I hope Henry feels better quick!!! Sounds like a great sick day... I hope Henry feels good enough that you both enjoy a Christmassy day!

We ended up getting a couple of inches of snow yesterday and it looks wonderful! The temperatures are going to be dropping and tomorrow morning we are suppose to have wind chills about -15! Could be enough for a 2 hour delay tomorrow. Cold again through Friday, but then.... 50 on Saturday will lots of rain, then turning cold again, back to snow and temperatures on Monday morning in the single digits! Talk about temperature roller coaster.

Well, it was tolerably warm yesterday with just a mild sprinkle or two during the evening hours.
Should be slightly cooler today then MUCH colder tomorrow, with tomorrow night's low predicted at teeth-chattering 18 degrees.
(Wow!)
We are at 45 degrees here right now.


Hey! Carl is ready and waiting at the 'Pines for this next-to-the-last open house Wednesday before Christmas. Things are in full holiday swing and will be even more so next Wednesday, the designated super special pre-Christmas bash.
Be there this evening and especially a week from this evening, Folks!

Yesterday was a l-o-n-g workday. I'm hoping today brings more reasonable hours. I want to drop in at the 'Pines and sip tea and/or cocoa and watch the festivities.

After tonight, there's only one more trip to the Pines before Christmas!

We're almost finished with shopping. I just have to find something for my brother. He's pretty easy, though. A quick trip to Lowe's should do the trick.

Can't believe there are only TWO PINES DAY'S before Christmas. How did that happen?!?!

I wrap a little each day for about 10 days and I'm done by the 22nd/23rd. Santa got him a whole lot of gifts so he's going to think every gift under the tree is his! Going to be an interesting Christmas.

I'm usually starting about the 22nd, 23rd! LOL! I will have to wrap the gifts we need to bring to my in-laws on Sunday. That won't take long.
I can't wait to hear the Rollins stories & see some pics!

Wow you start so late...sounds like what my brother does. Oh yeah it's his first Christmas so I'm hoping he loves it all. Nitro always realized when it was Christmas and that meant he was getting presents!

A lot of times I wrap as we go. I use both wrap & bags, so it really doesn't take long. Most of our presents are for Christmas Eve, so I always put them around the tree before we head to the gathering & take a pic! The others are mostly for friends & I wrap them as I'm going to be seeing them.. LOL - it works!

Um, 11 days until Christmas & I just can't get in the spirit of things.

Music playing in the car and office, tree lights on all night, every night, wrapped gifts, two parades, two Christmas programs at church. I don't have a gift for three of our four parents. DD's finding out the "truth" about Santa did more damage to me than to her, I think! There's no down time to watch many Christmas movies. We have managed to watch the two movies that DH has to watch every year: Christmas Vacation & White Christmas. DD & I have watched one Muppets Christmas movie.

I told DH that we have to spend this Friday night watching more Christmas movies to get me in the holiday spirit or Christmas will be over before I'm in the mood. He's in a worse place than I am---he proposed just skipping Christmas next year! I called him Scrooge and told him that wasn't going to happen. I'm trying to find my way without forcing it.
